While designing and creating beautiful furniture is my mainstay, I also preform handyman duties as well, mostly ranging in finish carpentry, installation of fixtures, as well as general around the house upgrades and repairs. "I have made many mistakes in paint color in the past, and really wanted to get this right. I asked for a color consultation first, to select the right color to paint the fireplace. LeeAnn was very personable on the phone and within a few days visited the home and suggested the perfect colors for both the fireplace and the mantel. Within a few more days she and an assistant completed the work. I believe it took two days due to preparation and then a second coat of paint. It looks perfect, and I love how it freshens up the room. I'm so glad that I asked for help on this project. I will definitely call them again! They were pleasant, timely, professional, and clearly talented at color selection and painting."

It is possible to refinish a table without stripping and sanding it by repairing small dents. You’ll use a gel stain, and then put on a wipe-on finish. The downside is this won't result in as smooth and as deep of a finish as if you had stripped the table. Also, any blemishes on your table will remain.

You can certainly seal butcher block countertops, but not permanently. Due to the nature of the materials, it will require resurfacing down the line. This is true no matter what you use to seal the countertop, including polyurethane and mineral oil. Polyurethane will last until the countertop is damaged in some way, and mineral oil should be reapplied every two to three months. To maximize the longevity of the polyurethane sealer, apply two coats.
