"A team of three woman spent 4 hours in the house, but as they charge by the job, this was fine.  But after 12 person hours, I expected a very clean house.  They did a lot of work, and one always notices what's not done, but there were what I considered basics that were missed.  There's a corner where I keep a litter box for the cat, and I pointed out in advance that there would be dust on the woodwork and shelves in the area and that it would need special attention.  But before they left, I called them in and showed them that they had left litter behind on the floor (a lot of litter against the walls and in the corners) as well as the dust.  Evidently, they had steamed the area without sweeping up the litter and created something of a mess which they did not see. They did then reclean the area. I also pointed out that the tubs would come smooth with soap scum remover, but though they had certainly cleaned the tubs, there was still a residue left that I had to scrub off.
I don't think they did much in the utility room, which is actually part of the kitchen.  I asked them to go back and clean the sink, which they had neglected.  This is not a paint-spattered old sink, but a very nice white porcelain sink, which I would have thought they would have cleaned automatically.
In two of the upstairs bedrooms we have rugs which go partly under the beds on wood floors.  When I checked under the beds, I saw that they had not vacuumed or dust mopped in these areas.
They did, however. do a nice job in my daughter's room and bath, which is a challenge. They did clean the window ledges and sills, which many people miss.
I had to ask them to turn off their loud music at one point. Even when I've had workmen in, they were considerate enough not to play music, given that I was home.
They did not have a receipt on hand to give me.
I hope I am not being unfair. I don't really like writing the reviews. I'm hard to please, but I've had services do a better job in much less time, and I'm surprised that all the reviews have been A's for this service. I cancelled the service after the first cleaning and forfeited the $40 charge for supplies.

"Highly recommend Brandons service. Excellent communication and courteousness, always on time. The entire property looks great and he was very meticulous in making sure the job was done completely to our satisfaction. It's not an easy job with multi-levels, lots of original wood trim and windows over 100 years old, porches, breezeway, carport, patios, pergolas, driveway, and over 200 ft of sidewalks etc. The sidewalks were practically black and look so much better! He has the proper equipment and paid extra attention to detail to softwash effectively without doing damage to the house or vegetation. More than fair on price as well. We will be using him again in the near future!!"

"The Moore brothers were great. They satisfied my Home Owners' Association with a detailed proposal within an hour of inspecting the job. They itemized and described the work, which included cleaning off the mold, replacing insulation, repairing joists, encapsulating the crawlspace, and creating a French Drain on the exterior of my unit to redirect the rain. They also set up my dehumidifier in the space with a wireless meter I can read from inside . Their price was in line and they did everything they promised in good order, good humor, and respect. Three other companies bid and were not even close... in promptness, plan, OR price. I highly recommend Jon and Danny Moore."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.

Steam mops can be a better option than traditional mops because the steam can lift stubborn dirt from floors without using chemicals, and it also kills bacteria and dust mites. However, steam mops have drawbacks: they are more expensive, require an electrical outlet, and are not suitable for all flooring types, such as laminate or hardwood, which can be damaged by the steam.

Regular mopping can also sanitize floors effectively when done with the right cleaning products and techniques, though it may require more effort. The main advantage of a traditional mop is its versatility, as it can be used on any type of flooring. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your floor type, budget, and cleaning preferences.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.

Buffing will only remove scratches at the surface level of your flooring. You may also need to apply hardwood floor wax to restore the wax layer. To remove deeper scratches, you’ll need another floor repair method like sanding; however, if you sand the floor, you’ll also need to stain and seal it.

Commonly used in garages, epoxy is a synthetic resin coating that goes over the top of concrete surfaces. If you’re deciding between polished concrete and epoxy flooring, the best choice depends on your needs and personal preference. Epoxy is durable and highly customizable, while polished concrete tends to require less maintenance. They’re both long-lasting with similar price points, and professional installation is recommended for each.
