David was the only one, while here for the estimate, who took my tile out of the box and started discussing how the project needed to be done. "These guys did an excellent job and I'd rehire them in a heartbeat. Fermin Ortiz is the owner and is very friendly and conscientious. He was on the job everyday with 2-4 of his crew. The job required just over 3 weeks to complete our 2800 sq ft townhouse. This included painting the indoor garage (including the floor), painting the outside portico over our front porch, and some concrete near our basement steps. Job required repair and patch of nail pops, repair larger holes in drywall, repair old joint tape. Two coats of paint and primer when required. Showed up every morning at 8:00 and worked until 4:30. Part of the higher price was due to my requirement to remove all light fixtures, switch covers, receptacle covers, smoke detectors, and door hardware before painting. Everyday they covered our furniture with plastic sheeting to help keep it clean, then cleaned up/vacuumed the floors, and even moved all furniture themselves as they moved around the rooms. They also worked 6 days a week when requested to get job done on time. I have hired too many contractors in the DMV area that didn't do a good job. I was lucky to find these guys. I highly recommend this company."

"I bought my first house last year, and my real estate agent recommended I work with Nick. He is a very patient man who listened to all my questions and answered them thoroughly. Nick made time for me and ensured we addressed all my concerns throughout the process. Together, we tackled a comprehensive list of repairs and upgrades based on the inspection report. Nick and his team handled the roof, windows, and wood damage, and encapsulated the crawl space. We installed new vanities in the bathrooms, granite countertops in the kitchen and vanities, painted and sanded the kitchen cabinets, and put new knobs on all the doors. Additionally, we replaced all the electrical outlets, lighting, and doors, essentially giving the house a complete facelift. The only things we didn't update were the paint and floors. While working with Nick was very good overall, we did encounter some issues. There were instances of scope creep, which extended the timeline, and some communication breakdowns led to mistakes. Naturally, I was frustrated at times, but Nick handled these issues professionally. He fixed the problems and worked with me to ensure my satisfaction, which earned my great respect. A year after the project, I had an issue with termite inspections in the crawl space. Despite the time that had passed, Nick addressed and fixed the problem at no charge because he had done the original work. This demonstrated his commitment to his clients and his integrity. If you're considering working with Nick, I highly recommend him. He is fair, honest, and dedicated to making things right, even if mistakes occur. Many contractors promise they'll get it right the first time, but when things don't go according to plan, they struggle to handle it. Nick is different; he grows, learns, and listens.
