"Contractor was competent and knowledgeable about the work being done. He went above and beyond to make sure things were done correctly and not minimaly. He respected our time needs, our home, and pets. He confirmed our height and location wishes for all accessories: bench, shelves, bars, etc. He cleaned up his area at the end of each day and completed the project earlier than projected. We would recommend Anthony very highly. Thank you."

"Professional, friendly, great attention to detail. Jesse and his crew rescreened our existing porch moving the screen to the outside of the porch framing. The work was beautifully done, great attention to detail, great clean up after the completion of the project and an ever present concern for the safety of the crew. (We had several rain days that could have been dangerous work using 2nd floor scaffolding.) I would recommend Summerlin Exteriors."

"The Peak Renovations team did an amazing job on both of our upstairs bathrooms (before and after pics attached). They demo'd, tiled, painted, exchanged fixtures, and fixed existing issues and imperfections. They helped us to add character and value to our otherwise builder grade rooms. We're so happy with the quality of work and will work with them again."

"Mr Clark replaced the door frame wood and molding for my single car garage. He, also, installed a full-width drain in the concrete entry to my garage. He arrived on time, was courteous, and did very good work. The drain works very well during heavy rains. I, also, hired him to replace the wood on my deck and attached stairway. He did good work and I particularly like the railing design. My only disappointment was the over-reliance on nails instead of using bolts or screw fasteners (particularly on the railing). I would definitely use him again."

"Put a deposit on 6/11/24 work was to start 6/25/24. He sent Ken out 6/26/24. Ken was a very nice and knowledgeable person with what needed to be done. Found out on 6/27 that putting the shower doors was not included, didn't quiet understand why it wasn't included Ken remove the shower doors We just assumed that he would install them back. Got a call from Chris saying that it was going to cost $300 extra dollars to install back the doors but he would give us a break and only charge $150. Still didn't understand it but wasn't in the mood to argue, they took down to shower heads and my handicap bars and replace them without an extra charge. So by my experience make sure every thing is in the contract Don't assume anything. 4 days later after the job was finished found out Ken did not put the screws back in the shower faucet or put the tracks on the shower doors. He done a good job just not completely happy with the small things."

"I've known Paul Ragan for over a year now.  We met when I was searching for a new home.  I few times I bid on houses, and I hired him to make a pre-inspection before I made my offers.  He's been in building,  for a very long time.  He can easily 'case up' a place, let me know what problems I may have, and the quality of the construction.  When I found the house, I had about 32 days between the closing of the house, and the time I had to leave my apartment, as my landlord needed it vacated for her son.  Fortunately I had ample access to the house, prior to closing, ordered everything to be delivered at the house the day after the close.  Then Paul went to work.  I also had hard wood floors installed throughout, and he was great about coordinating the timing of everything. It was stressful because here is my dream house... I'm not a designer or decorator, know nothing of color, lighting, etc. and really wanted to move in and have everything perfect.  Well....Paul has friends who know this stuff.  His worker Casey has strong artistic sense and came to the rescue several times, and his electrician is also very knowledgeable on design.  I was thrilled with everyone he brought onto the job.  So just 2 days before Christmas I moved in, and have been completely satisfied, and very happy and peaceful in my new place.  "

"Absolutely Fantastic I have worked with many wonderful contractors over the years but Rick Cox (dba Carolina Carpenter) is at the top of the list. He and his son, Josh, are extremely talented, resourceful and get the job done at a reasonable cost. They and the electrician, plumber and other professionals they use are delightful to work with and of the highest honesty and integrity. In June 2018 my wife and I purchased a house in Connestee Falls, Brevard, NC which was beautifully located but in need a great deal of work. After interviewing a number of contractors, we chose Rick because of his directness, obvious competence and easy manner. The renovation required complete gutting of the core areas, including the removal of several walls and a faux stone wood-burning fireplace. Rick started while we were still in NY and when we arrived in mid-August, he had neatly removed the fireplace. In the following 11 months, he replaced it with gas burning fireplaces in the living room and adjoining Master Bedroom (a very difficult thing to do in the space we had), expanded the rear hall, closed several exterior windows, installed 4 exterior windows and sliding doors, re-floored, re-sided and painted most of the common areas, rebuilt and upgraded the stairway to the lower level and put in a fantastic new kitchen. The project cost six figures and encountered many setbacks as removal of walls and floors exposed poor electrical work and many other preexisting deficiencies. However, in each case, Rick, Josh and his associates developed creative solutions and, as we went along, they helped us refine our vision of what we wanted so that the finished product far exceeded our initial expectations. With his fine carpentry expertise, Rick provided a new beamed ceiling and log mantle and wood work around the new living room fireplace which is itself the artistic focal point of the room. He also transformed an eye-sore half wall into a beautiful built-in cabinet which is integral to the new dining area. Rick and Josh work quietly and efficiently and are upfront about timelines and their availability. In fact, when the demands of a difficult new client caused them to fall behind the timeline they set, they worked on weekends to get current. You would be fortunate to have Rick and Josh working with you. We were. They came as workmen but stayed as friends. Grab Bar Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, driveway gates can help secure your home by deterring burglars from accessing your property. Climbing a gate slows down burglars while also attracting attention to your gate. If you live further down your property and want to increase security, you can also install a gate security camera that connects to your gate and monitors the area for suspicious activity.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.

In addition to window well covers or bars, you can take a few more steps to boost basement window security. Try motion-activated lighting; it scares off potential intruders by lighting up when someone gets too close. Strengthening your window glass with impact-resistant security film can also deter forced entry. A dependable home security system with window sensors and cameras offers real-time monitoring and alerts for added protection. Lastly, fostering good relationships with neighbors can establish a supportive community watch network, enhancing your home's safety.

Burglar bars can go either inside or outside a window. However, internally mounted security bars provide the advantage of being inaccessible from outside the property without breaking a window. If a burglar were to break the glass and attempt to attack the inside bar attachment, they would risk setting off a glass break window alarm sensor.

Using proper equipment, ventilation systems, and adhering to application standards.
