"Randy and son, Chris, arrived on time, or slightly earlier, daily, and this was highly appreciated. They prepped the kitchen, kitchen island, butler pantry, and master bathroom cabinet areas, primed and painted the wood surfaces in the colors we chose. All was completed to our total satisfaction, and we highly recommend their services!"

"Every time I rent my rental property out to new tenants I have Mr. Junior Green come to paint the entire house. This time I wanted two accent walls, one for the fire place and the other on the stairs. It turned out pretty awesome. They also painted my doors as well. Always on time, professional, polite and keeps the area clean even while working. Done in 2018, Great company."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

"Very well.  They were extremely professional and amazingly hard workers.  The owner came by at least once per day to talk to me and to check on the project.  We did have trouble with the mixing of our paint, but they worked closely with the paint store to achieve the exact color needed.  Jason is very friendly and down to earth and keeps a very close eye on the quality and progress of the job."

"I had the Big Deal Offer of $199 of interior painting for a day.  But it turned out I did not get him for an entire day since he had some familial obligations.  So I was a little bit disappointed that I did not get the entire day out of it.  If I recall correctly he was here for about 5 to 6 hours.  But I just remember that he had to take off early since he had something going on with his kid.  No, he did not say that he will make up the remaining time for me.  At this point he is not one whom I will hire again.  If you commit for a day you should be working for a day.  You should schedule your time that whatever obligation you have should fall outside the commitment.  All that I had him do was painting baseboards and he did good on that.  Price wise, it was certainly a good deal since I did not want to be on my hand and knees painting baseboards all day."

"how did it go? fair. they use spray painting and there is drift. I had to call them back because of paint drift on the windows. they came. but it would seem to me that they should know that spray painting drifts and would be astute to cleaning any drift. the biggest problem is: background here: we had the house painted in fall 2015. in fall of 2016 I noticed peeling paint. the contract and their website stated 2 year warranty. Cary Rizzieri, President/Owner said in fall of 2016 it was getting to cold to paint outside. fair enough. wait until spring 2017. spring 2017 I contacted him again. Mr. Rizzieri said wait until spring rains stop. fair enough. in May 2017 I called yet again. Mr. Rizzieri said he would have the failing parts painted by mid-June 2017. Date came and went...not a peep. I called/emailed again. We spoke and he indicated when he stopped by that I had a lot of exterior work done and he would have his crew come by and paint at cost. I did have some wood replaced on a screen porch amounting to about perhaps 50 or 60 linear feet. I declined at it was $350 and I could do it myself at a much reduced cost. He was miffed at my turning down his proposal. I then asked for the color codes of the paint so I could by the paint the new wood myself. Yes he said he would have them to me by the next day. that was sometime in July. It is now mid-August. No word, no code, no crew. Nothing. I wrote him stating I was going to take some action since nothing appears to get him to do what the contract stated. Mr. Rizzieri wrote back saying he doesn't run scared. My intent was to prod him into finishing the work. Nothing more. I waited a few weeks thinking he would contact me with a firm date. Nothing. So I decided that I should in the interest of us consumers to post this. I do hope this helps"

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Deciding between a lighter or darker accent wall depends on the effect you’re going for. Choosing an accent wall in a lighter color will make a room feel brighter and more spacious and complement rooms with less natural light. A darker accent wall will add drama and depth to a room and help make larger rooms feel more cozy and intimate.

One of the biggest downsides to peel-and-stick wallpaper is that it doesn't last as long as traditional wallpaper. Its lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the paper, proper wall preparation and application, and the room's conditions. As a general rule, peel-and-stick wallpaper can last for at least five years, but this can vary significantly. Budget products may only last about 3 years, while higher-quality products can stay up for 7 years or more in ideal conditions. Factors that can shorten its lifespan include high humidity (such as in a bathroom), dirty walls, and low-quality paper. If used on flooring, expect it to last only 1 to 3 years unless sealed. However, the shorter lifespan can be seen as a positive, making it a great choice for people who enjoy switching up their interiors more frequently.

In most cases, it is not recommended to wallpaper over existing wallpaper, as the success depends on the type of paper already on the wall. While you might be able to cover non-coated wallpaper, you should never apply new wallpaper over a vinyl-coated one, which is more common. Doing so can lead to poor adhesion, resulting in bubbles, imperfections, and peeling. It can also trap moisture, potentially causing hazardous mold growth between the layers.

Even if the existing wallpaper is suitable, experts recommend applying only one new layer. Adding multiple layers (more than two total) can cause significant adhesion problems, leading to warping and bubbling. For the best results, the recommended approach is to remove the old wallpaper and all paste residue before hanging the new paper. If you are unsure about your wallpaper type, consider consulting a professional.

Common mistakes when finishing basement walls include neglecting proper insulation, insufficient moisture management, and poor ventilation. Not addressing these issues can lead to mold growth, water damage, and discomfort. Additionally, inadequate planning, improper framing, and rushing the project can result in subpar outcomes.

It's essential to follow best practices, seek professional guidance if needed, and prioritize thoroughness and attention to detail.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.
