"Rich did a great job adding custom shelving to two closets in my home. He was very professional and arrived at the time that we agreed to. No messes were left behind when the work was done. My closets look great now and have so much more storage space!"

"As a long distance property owner, I appreciate having one company I can routinely solicit and contract with a company to evaluate, estimate, and resolve my home repairs in a timely, cost effective manner. Transparency in both options and the cause of the concern is critical for us to maintain a successful relationship with tenants who at times may not be aware of how to properly report or prevent issues. We receive detailed records, photos, and all needed documentation for our accountant and have consistently gotten pro-active guidance during the process on how to save money on costly repairs down the road. I cannot recommend this company highly enough."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

How long it takes to build an in-law suite will vary by type. The time it takes to build an addition will typically be less than for completely new construction. Expect to spend about two months if you convert a basement, attic, or other existing room in your home. New structures can take up to five months, plus up to two months to receive the required permits.

A pool builder can advise you on the best design for your property and vision, and can walk you through the process from design to a swim-ready pool. Knowing which questions to ask a pool builder can help ensure you choose the right person for the job.

Depending on what the blueprints are for, a qualified draftsperson, contractor, or architect can draw them up. In some cases, including specialty permitting for a build, you may be required to use a licensed architect.

In many cases, a blueprint drawn up by a certified professional is required before a city or municipality approves a permit.

Most towns and cities have regulations regarding sign dimensions for businesses. If you're opening a new business, contact the town or city's local zoning board to see the specifications you need to follow when getting your sign created. There may also be rules regarding how high your sign can sit. Be sure to learn about specifications before having your sign made. Sign companies generally won't offer refunds once custom signs have been fabricated.

If your project is complex, it may make sense to hire an architect to draw plans. An architect might also be a good person to hire if you want to ensure your plans adhere to building codes and regulations.
