I specialize in building small custom sheds. This is a one-man operation and this saves money for the customer. I can build a quality shed to your specifications and (in most cases) I can save you a lot of money. This is a new business. I am a retired high school Math teacher. I’ve been building these for about a year and have just gone into business for myself. For more information about the business and more photos of my work please visit www.ThatShedGuy.org

"Would recommend him to anyone that needs a shed! It's beautifully made"

"Excellent company to hire for any type of project. they did a outstanding job on my fence made sure the ground was leveled out before installing and made sure that the post had extra cement in them to protect from wind damage. Company was on time and very responsible and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely hired them again."

Garages questions, answered by experts

Each garage door is different, but they typically operate between 300 MHz and 390 MHz.

Yes, a single garage door with an 8-foot width is considered standard. This will be the size needed if you are upgrading a garage door in nearly any standard-sized residential garage. If you are building a garage from scratch that you intend to use for parking a large truck, SUV, or RV, you can consider extending the width to 10 feet to make parking easier.

Always lock the door that separates your garage and your home. However, garage doors are seldom entrance points for thieves. It takes quite a bit of work and noise to pry open a garage door, so thieves often opt for windows or unlocked doors. Unless they have access to the motor which controls the door, as long as it's functioning properly you shouldn't worry too much about it.

An insulated garage door is a great long-term investment if it’s within your budget. They save energy and give the door year-round usability. In other words, the door pays for itself after a few nasty winters. Most modern garage doors already have a fair amount of insulation, so look into those options if you don’t feel comfortable splurging.

Most garage door rails are fitted for their garage door, in particular. Some manufacturers make adjustable rails, but they’re not universal.
