It went very well. He re-pointed all of the masonry joints and installed mortar board around the circumference of the chimney. The board was secured with metal screws every eight inches and was then stuccoed completely in order to complete the waterproofing and its stability.

I was very impressed with him. He paid a lot of attention to detail. The man and his son, they both worked really hard and they would take like 30-minute lunch and be right back to work. He showed up when he said he would. He stayed late and I was very impressed with the work he did. I thought he was the most reasonably priced of the people I talked to. He said that I do not get paid until you are satisfied.

Marty Wilson, with The House Doctor, came last summer to give me a quote on building a small outbuilding behind our house because my wife didn't want to have to store things in our crawl space any more. When Marty first came to look at the project he was exceptionally helpful in providing information and advice about our ideas for the small garage. After my wife approved the plan, Marty said he would be back on Monday morning of the next week to start the project and he showed-up at the exact time he said he would arrive. As Marty built the garage he made sure that what we had originally decided on was still what we wanted to do. Marty wound up finishing the buolding in less time than I thought it would take him, and our new garage looks great! Since then I have recommended Marty to another couple we know for some needs they have around their home. I am a very satisfied customer!
