"John was recommended to us last year by a neighbor who had his bathroom completely re-done.  He was very happy with John's work, so we called John about a leak in our kitchen.  It was a roof vent that had been damaged during a storm.  John replaced it and the leak was no more.  After that, raccoons and squirrels damaged the screening on our porch.  John came over and replaced the screening and some of the wood that had seen better days.  The job was very well done, and no creature has been able to break through the new screen.  After that was complete, we asked John if he could replace the siding on the shed.  Then he pressure washed the house and screen porch.  All of the jobs were thoroughly done with a minimum of mess.  John cleaned up his work area every evening after he had finished for the day.  John is a very ethical, professional man, and I will continue to ask him to work for me.  I recommend him highly to any person who wishes to engage his services.  By the way, I expect that the shed will still be standing and in terrific shape many, many years from now.  The work is of excellent quality!

"'B-/C+' is the real grading. He manages several non-English speaking crews and so the quality of varies and no recourse with the people performing the work. The jobs looks good from afar, but the details are lacking. Many houses here are built with a "carpenter's gap" (google it). The workers did not mention this to me or to James Taylor, the consequence is my roof continues to let in vermin and this is now much more expensive to fix (I offered to pay the difference to fix this, never heard back). The workers also slid down the shingles and there is shingle wear where they slid down on their butts. The roof is functioning correctly, although we have sealed a several popped nails. The siding install was just the siding, the quote apparently did not include painting/sealing where the trim butts up against the siding ( I was told this is standard practice, so now I have to get up on a ladder and paint this myself). I was glad house wrap was included, but the work was carelessly cut and not according to Tyvek's overlap specification nor fastening (see picture. Manufacturer specification specifies a 6" overlap (red dots) and washered fasteners). Billing was clear enough. Email/phone response times long."

"ng Brian and Sarah are wonderful people. They both came to the house and sat and talked to us like we had been great friends for years!! They were never pushy or tired to get us to just spend all our money. They made sure we were happy with the roof and siding. They were here almost everyday while the work was being done to make sure that we were still happy in how everything was going. After all the work was done They walked the entire house and checked everything to ensure all was done correctly and all debris had been cleaned. There had been some debris left over and Brian made the crew come back and clean it all up. Brian wants his customers happy and I can honestly say that my husband and I were very pleased with the service and work we received from Brian, Sarah and the crew. I would highly recommend Atlantic Coastal Enterprises to anyone needing roofing siding or any house repair done.
