I have used the services of John Adams/101 Building Services for my home and had great results.  Our church needed some exterior repair and I asked John to give us an estimate for the work.  After I received his estimate we met at the church and discussed exactly what needed to be done.
John not only did a quality job for each of the tasks on the list, he noticed some additional related items that needed work and, after checking with me, repaired those also.  For example, he powerwashed much more than the portico and steps that we contracted for.  While he had his gear hooked up, he also power washed the front walkway and back entryway.  He also repaired damage to two additional windows.
We have a small church with a limited budget.  John refused to accept any more in payment than what was initially agreed.  He said the additional work was his gift to the church.  Overall, we were extremely happy with the quality of John's work and appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile.

I've used John in the past and have never had a bad experience. This time he patched up some dry wall that came off when I took down some M3 tape. He sanded the wall down, covered the holes, and repainted the spots. Looks like there was never an issue. As always, great price and friendly, professional customer service!

I have used the services of John Adams in the past and have had excellent results.  I called him about the problem with a pocket door.  The door had come off the track and was back in the wall.  I was unsure how to get at the problem area and was considering cutting a hole in the wall for access.
John took time to carefully evaluate the problem so he would fix the door while doing minimizing any damage to the door frame and wall.  In the end he was able to get at the problem area by removing one piece of trim around the door frame.  The pocket door now  works better than ever.
I highly recommend his work.

John Adams was coureous, professional, and did an excellent job.  He was able to succefully get stains out of hard surfaces such as concrete as well as more fragile areas around doors and windows.
I called 101 Building Services about 2 weeks ago.  I reside on the far edge of their area of service.  John said he would have to call me back to find a convenient time to travel for our task.  We were in no hurry, so that was fine.   The 2 weeks delay is the only reason I graded 101 as a "B" in responsiveness.  The day of service he arrived right on time.
We were pleased with the results.  Excellent!  I will certainly plan to use his services in the future.

Great! Showed up on time, was friendly but got to work quickly and cleaned up every day before he left.

He does everything well.  Now, he has become so busy that we haven’t really had him back that much.  The last time we had him almost exclusively was for nine months for getting our house fixed up as it had fallen into a bit of disrepair.  We see him from time to time, and he will take care of our dog for us when we go out.  He would only take on something like a small fixing job, but nothing major.  He can do that, but since he is not licensed to do that, he doesn’t.  He has a lot of pride in his workmanship.  He won’t do something half way.  He is very fair, very honest, and is pretty reasonable on his rates.

The service was good. They knew what they were talking about.   They did it quickly and on time.  They did a really good job and it's still holding up.  We will use them again in the future if we need to.

John was recommended to us last year by a neighbor who had his bathroom completely re-done.  He was very happy with John's work, so we called John about a leak in our kitchen.  It was a roof vent that had been damaged during a storm.  John replaced it and the leak was no more.  After that, raccoons and squirrels damaged the screening on our porch.  John came over and replaced the screening and some of the wood that had seen better days.  The job was very well done, and no creature has been able to break through the new screen.  After that was complete, we asked John if he could replace the siding on the shed.  Then he pressure washed the house and screen porch.  All of the jobs were thoroughly done with a minimum of mess.  John cleaned up his work area every evening after he had finished for the day.  John is a very ethical, professional man, and I will continue to ask him to work for me.  I recommend him highly to any person who wishes to engage his services.  By the way, I expect that the shed will still be standing and in terrific shape many, many years from now.  The work is of excellent quality!

He is honest, prompt, and is meticulous about what he does. He is very careful and does everything in a nice manner. He sticks with us until he has finished and I am satisfied. His prices were reasonable. He continues to do the job until he does it right. He is very responsive. He is very punctual and if he is going to be late, he calls and lets you know. He is very professional. If I have anything to be done anytime, I would rely on him. It is nice to have somebody like him to help. He is going to fix the garage door for me soon. When I met him he was doing work for another house in the neighborhood and I decided to use him since my brother-in-law- was moving in close by. He did things for him and then helped me. He has not given me a quote for that work, but he has been reasonable in everything he has done.

I was very impressed with the young man.  He is very busy right now, but he will be here next week to do the work. 

He did a beautiful job.  It was an excellent experience.  He is very nice, very prompt, and easy to communicate with.

John Adams has done a lot of work for me. He is very versatile. I have used him for plumbing, painting, decks and flooring work. He is probably one of the best painters I have ever seen. He has done irrigation work for me and has repaired it. I have used him for roofing. He has built structures for me. He has done some repairs outside the house. We had boring bees and he has fixed all those, repaired the wood and got rid of the bees. He has built pergolas and greenhouses. We had an irrigation problem for our outside sprinklers for probably two years and we couldn’t get anybody to come out and he fixed it within a few days. He builds fences and walls. He is the best. He charges hourly and charges by the job also. He is coming again today but he is here at least once a week. He does work by himself. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.

We've been redoing an older home and needed some help so we got a referral for a another handyman to help with projects, but his quality of work was poor.  In April I found John on Angie's list and have been very pleased with everything he's done for us.  John has always been professional and pleasant.  He has high standards and I’ve found his rates to be very reasonable for the high quality of work that he does.    He’s very dependable, always showing up when he says and completing projects in the timeline that he gives.

Toilet didn't flush properly. Called John. He diagnoised problem, went to store, bought necessary repair items, installed them, and 'viola,' everything works as it should.

Quality and customer satisfaction is very high. All projects and repairs accomplished during the past year are excellent. Completed complete interior painting of house, repaired underground sprinkler system, built several exterior wood structures, re-landscaped garden to provided designs, and more. Highly recommended - trustworthy and very reasonable.
