"Excellent work and excellent response time. Romulo showed us why the old concrete cracked and we put in a thicker pad with some fiberglass mesh to prevent the new section from cracking and also used a higher grade concrete. Work was done within a week of my call to him, and went very well. I would highly recommend his company to anyone that needs concrete work done."

"Very professional and took great care of our home. Over time, our foundation had gone down. They came in and secured our foundation and encapsulated our crawl space. It looks amazing and we can already tell the difference. Thank you to Brian and John!"

"Alan did a great job. We had bluestone stepping stones added to a pathway, River stones placed around a pavilion and completed with mulch. He was dependable, honest and was easy to work with. We highly recommend Landmark Design Landscaping. They do excellent work."

"A great group of folks - professional, courteous, friendly, and thorough. What more could one ask for? They 'upgraded' the insulation in my attic, and discovered and addressed a couple of problems I was not aware of. Great job! I'll refer you to all my friends. It's good to know that you also do crawlspace/basement encapsulation."

Customers say: True professional

"Stunning! Jack went over and above what I expected. Excellent craftsmanship, unbelievable work ethic! Met his father who is also in the business. Jack is at least a second generation concrete guy. Both are of good character and solid work ethic. Amazing work which makes my 1968 house look almost new! (Great price, too.)"

"Caleb did an excellent job with my concrete extension. We discussed the pros & cons of a few ways to handle the job before settling on the best approach. He gave me an excellent estimate, which I accepted. Keep me informed of the progress and what needed to be done to have it cure correctly. Highly recommend him."

Masonry questions, answered by experts

Depending on the amount of soot present, you can vacuum some of it using a brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Then, remove the leftovers with a mild cleaner, such as dish soap or vinegar mixed with water. Before applying a cleaning solution, saturate the bricks with clean water to prevent the cleaner from penetrating beyond the surface and causing structural damage to the bricks.

Costs depend on material type, labor, chimney requirements, and structural reinforcements.

You can hang holiday lights on brick without drilling by using hot glue, outdoor tape, or brick clips for your project. There are plenty of alternatives to consider, so consult a professional Christmas light installer to discuss the best options to preserve your brick exterior.

They provide excellent heat retention and durability and add a classic aesthetic to a home.

The best tool for drilling into brick or mortar is a rotary hammer drill which is a large hammer drill with low rotation speed and high torque. Regular drills with a hammer function are also excellent tools for drilling into brick when the diameter of the hole is 1/2 inch or less. It might be possible to drill into brick with a standard drill if you’re only drilling a very small hole, but note that masonry work will put a lot of wear on a standard drill, and the tool may not be strong enough to get through brick.
