If you have waxed floors or floors with a penetrating stain or oil, you can shine them up with some more wax and a cloth or floor buffer. After cleaning the floor thoroughly, apply wax to the floor in small sections and use a clean, dry cloth or towel to buff it until it shines. Vinegar is an excellent cleaner for vinyl flooring and won’t ruin the material. Mopping the floor with a cup of vinegar diluted in a gallon of warm water can make it sparkle.

Like any other type of flooring, you will need to keep up with regular maintenance on your epoxy floors to keep them in the best shape possible; however, it is not like hardwood floors inside a house, which require special care and more consistent maintenance.

Just make sure you use the right cleaning tools and solutions. Avoid using harsh tools like scrub brushes or hard-bristled brooms. You should also skip cleaners that are highly acidic, including white vinegar.

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.
