"Josh and his crew did two very difficult and technical tree removals for me. One 3 ft diameter ponderosa pine that was leaning over our garage the other over our house. They accomplished both and did a nice job of cleaning up. They were pleasant to work with and we felt they did not over charge for their services."

"Dustin got back to me right away to schedule. He arrived on time and trimmed my birch snag to a point that it will not fall on my fence when it does fall. He also looked at my mountain ash which was stressed. He trimmed the branches that were rubbing on each other and old me to moved the rocks and grass from underneath it. He educated me on caring for the tree and how to shake the branches after watering so they don't burn."

I used to do gym floors so I have good experience in hardwood flooring I've also done vinyl planks, carpet, carpet tiles, and tile mostly while doing remodel work I've got a little bit of experience with electrical pretty much anything around the house I can change, fix, or add if you're having problems with things I'm really good at coming up with solutions I can fabricate things, build things,or simply put things together I also do landscaping work I can trim trees or remove them and I'm mechanically inclined I can fix just about anything I work one week on one week off as a PCA and I'm just looking for something to do in my time off to keep myself busy I'm kind of a perfectionist so I do quality work I like to take my time to make sure it's done right the first time I have tools for most jobs and a good ambition to get things done I don't mind working late if that's what it takes to get it done

Arborists questions, answered by experts

To keep tree service projects in Missoula safe for kids and pets, designate a clear safety zone away from the work area and keep children indoors or engaged in supervised activities. Secure pets inside or in fenced areas, especially during tree trimming or removal. After work is completed, inspect your yard for leftover branches, pine needles, or equipment, and reseed any disturbed ground to prevent tripping hazards.

Helpful?

Completing tree service in Missoula often enhances your home’s value and curb appeal. Healthy, well-maintained trees like spruce or maple can boost property desirability, while professional pruning can open up mountain views and improve sunlight. Removing hazardous or overgrown trees reduces fire risk—a key concern in MT—and appeals to buyers seeking safe, attractive landscaping and energy-efficient shade from mature trees.

Helpful?

After tree service in Missoula, regularly water pruned or newly planted trees, especially during dry spells. Check for signs of stress or pest activity, and apply mulch to protect roots from temperature swings. Reseed grass where equipment disturbed the lawn, and inspect for leftover debris. Schedule annual tree care checkups with a local arborist to maintain tree health and address any issues from harsh Montana winters.

Helpful?

In Missoula, you can safely manage minor tree care tasks like trimming small branches under 2 inches, pruning low-hanging limbs on native species such as aspen or ponderosa pine, and mulching to retain soil moisture during dry Montana summers. Always avoid working above shoulder height or near power lines. If you spot signs of disease, storm damage, or large limbs, contact a local arborist for safe tree removal or advanced tree trimming.

Helpful?

In Missoula, unexpected expenses during tree service projects can include fees for tree removal permits, additional charges for stump grinding, or costs related to accessing trees on steep hillsides. You may also encounter extra cleanup for cottonwood or pine debris, or charges for disposing of diseased wood. Emergency tree care after heavy snow or wind events can require specialized equipment, which may increase the overall project scope.
