"They charge about $250-$300/hour. My bill was over $900 for about 3 hours of work time. I knew the cost and agreed to it but didnt expect it to go down like it did. Had hired them to install a toilet closet flange and he did not bolt it down just glued it to the down pipe. He told me it didnt need to be bolted but I could do it if I wanted to. The plumber made some comments about maybe the toilet drain line wasnt draining well (it was never used, new old construction 1985). I said maybe he should snake it since there isnt a toilet it would be quick...he responded by informing me that if he got that equipment out of his van he has to charge me an extra fee (it was something ridiculous like $200 but I cant remember the exact amount because it made me so angry since he had initially brought it up). I declined as he said if there is a problem I could just pull the toilet later and rent a snake/auger myself. They do not charge for the initial site consultation, but the final invoice shows that is part of the overall cost which isnt mentioned when the bid is offered. The waterlines appear well done and the quality of work is good. The front office staff are friendly and professional. Finally, he demanded payment before he would leave and my wife was out with the checkbook. The whole thing with this company could have been a more customer oriented experience. I can do everything I hired this company to do but since I am a disabled veteran and its getting harder for me to do this kind of work around the house, my wife and I finally hired some work out and have mixed feelings about doing it again."
