"This is our third door from RBA! So far we are really enjoying it! All of my previous doors were poor quality and leaked cold air in the winter months, now with our new doors, everything seals so nicely. Their customer service has also been great!"

"Got a great deal on equipment through Angies List. Tech was very helpful and took the time to answer questions and customize package to best meet our security needs."
"The job went very smoothly. The tech ran a bit late, but he called to say so. He installed a keypad by the front door and assessed the house for security. He suggested, since there are several casement windows in the living room and adjoining dining room that a breaking glass sensor would work better and be more cost-effective than alarming all the windows. He did alarm a door that the previous company (inherited when we bought the house twenty-three years ago) had not considered significant. I feel safer with the current sensor choices than the ones I had before. He took the time to make sure I knew how to use the system, so I am very pleased with the service. My one caveat: I was told that the motion sensor would not register my smaller pets (two cats) because they weigh under forty pounds. They must have set off the sensor, though, because the police responded. The system certainly alerts the authorities, but that motion sensor is very sensitive! "
You asked for details - you get details. I have internet security on my laptop; I am not a novice computer user. I frequently scan my computer for viruses and delete history and temporary internet files. I am cautious in downloading files onto my computer. I frequently can "fix" issues on my computer myself.
However, my computer not only began running very slowly no matter what I did; I frequently had to reboot/reset my wireless router. Internet pages I visited frequently became inaccessible to me. Downloaded games (jigsaw puzzles, hidden object games) no longer were accessible even though they were in correct programs files on my hard drive.
In desperation about 10:30 one evening, I googled "geek squad." In addition to finding the site for geek squad, I also saw a site to Geekatoo. I went to their website because they provide in-home support, which I reallly wanted. I forget where they are based, but must be on west coast since they are 2-3 hours behind us here in the eastern time zone. Read their entire website, then chatted onlline with a customer service rep who politely answered all my questions, reiterating information contained on their site: all techs are fully vetted regarding their credentials and all have undergone criminal background checks. The rep said they do have geeks in the Chattanooga area and she would arrange for one to come call me to set a time to come to the house. She told me that I would not have to pay the "geek" anything; I would pay Geekatoo and Geekatoo pays the Geek. I asked her what would occur if Geek were unable to fix my problems. She said "you pay nothing to us if your problem is not resolved." So, what happens if I expect to pay $xx, based on what I think my problems are, but Geek finds more troubling issues with my computer or it needs parts, etc. She said, "the Geek will let you know what the problems are and you have the option to stop the service at that time, or continue" The service sounded like a win/win.
Twelve hours later (about 10:30 the following morning), I received a call from Daniel Eilers, a local Geek with Geekatoo. We talked briefly and arranged for him to come to my home at 4:00 that afternoon. He arrived promptly at 4:00. I told him how my laptop had been lately and my growing frustration with it. He ran programs he brought with him and ran diagnostics and spent 2 hours at my computer, doing one thing and another. He patiently went through programs on the computer with me to determine if I wanted to keep them and how deleting or retaining them would (or not) affect the performance of my computer.
When he left my computer behaved as a new one. All games which had disappeared had returned. The computer ran smoothly and quickly. Incidentally, I have not been knocked off my internet service either, not once, since he worked his magic.
"That's the name I am vaguely familiar with; it's a home security company that is license to ADT franchise or dealer if I am correct. They were very good. They were prompt; they were quality. The individuals move their business. They were very timely and it was a good experience."
"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
"Yvette Pringle provided courteous and professional feedback to me when I called to inquire about a new home security system. My situation was unique because we were trying to find something that would work for a deaf person. I appreciated that Yvette did her research to find out what would work. She also offered different options in terms of a package and plan. We did end up going with another company, but I really did want to recognize Yvette for her work. She was very polite and helpful. "

Insurance companies weigh the amount of potential liabilities on your property to increase (or decrease) the cost of your home insurance. They will use several factors to decide if there are more chances for peril or injury to take place at your home. These factors include your location (whether you live in an area with high risk for natural disasters), the age and condition of your home, and whether you have any “attractive nuisances”—features that both increase the aesthetic of your home and potential for injury—like a pool or treehouse.
Yes, you can install a home security system in an old house. In fact, you can install a security system in any home. Some wiring may need to be added, but most home security systems do not require a lot of additional wiring. Wireless security systems can easily be installed with minimal additional wiring, if any at all. Most wireless security systems can be monitored and controlled from your smartphone, and the cameras and sensors operate on batteries.
Thieves can open almost anything with enough time and the right tools, but they also prefer easy targets that are unlikely to get them caught. Forcing open gates is loud and difficult, and to be able to open one electronically requires extensive knowledge of the system, which most thieves don't have. Electric and other security gates are great deterrents because the thief will move to an easier target. If the thief is determined to enter your property, they will most likely find a different entrance point.

Installing a gate on your property is often a worthwhile investment, despite the initial expense. Gates enhance your home's curb appeal and can increase its property value, making them more attractive to potential homebuyers. They provide significant security benefits by keeping out unwanted guests and increasing privacy for your household. Additionally, a gate can help keep children and pets safely contained in your yard.
For driveway gates, automatic versions are particularly convenient and tend to add more value than manual ones. The choice of gate material also plays a role in both aesthetic appeal and security. Beyond driveways, side gates can improve accessibility to your rear yard, making the outdoor space more usable. Overall, whether for security, safety, or aesthetics, installing a gate is a valuable addition to a property.
