"I called Protect America to get pricing from them to take over my existing system and monitor my security system monthly. The girl I spoke with was very explicit and gave me all of the information I needed to compare them to other security companies. I did not go with them simply because I didn't care for the way it would be connected to my existing box. It is simply a matter of preference. I would recommend them to anyone. They are strictly DIY and I didn't want to take on the job.

"OK first of all I never write reviews, dont have the time. However, the experience I had was amazing. I mean from when they answered the phone I felt comfortable. No high pressure, very straight forward salesperson. I called two other companies and both tried to upsell me from what they advertised. I am so happy I called Skycover! They did not try to upsell me. I purchased exactly what was advertised and saved even more money than I thought. I got a video camera for free with the system! I have a home office and now I can see what my assistant is doing from anywhere I travel in the world and I frequently travel to China for work. The system arrived to my door in a beautiful box and I will admit was concerned about setting it up, but it was plug and play just like the salesperson said. It took me less than 30 minutes in total and was super simple. I control everything from my phone. "Choice seems a bit shady. They don't show you anything on the website regarding what's offered. And in 24 hrs I immediately began front marketing calls about home security. It would be helpful as A MEMBER to have an the deals I'm eligible for on the website but nope. Bare bones website. And a circular repetitive aggressive sales. I say no the response is well you have to have a credit card? Yes yes I do and if I had wanted to use it I would have began my service with using a credit card. I choose to pay cash because that's what I wanted to do. I tell them my insurance doesn't give me a discount on having a monitored security system and I get argued with. Trust me when I say that I've found every single form of saving money possibly known to man and take advantage of every opportunity I get to do so. By the end of my 30 min marketing assault I requested to be removed from there marketing list and to have my card removed from my account. They store everything and are willing at the push off a button to charge you for what they are selling. How can you have a locked in 3 year price point that never ends. If it's only 3 years then it ends at 3 years. If there price never changes then there's no need to mention the 3 years. I mean these fast talking used car sales tactics are ridiculous and I needed a shower after speaking to them. Cause I'm sure I've been taken advantage of."
