This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. One truck holds the average 1800SqFt.

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"The plumbing job was left incomplete and not done properly. After scheduling and them rescheduling Jacob came out on friday to the house. After the work was performed we realized there was no water to the kitchen and no hot water in the master bath. So we went without for the weekend. We scheduled an appointment online the following saturday. We were told someone would be out monday then that got moved to tuesday. Finally on tuesday afternoon they came back to complete the job and return our water service."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"I paid them repeatedly to come out and fix Freon leaks. Then paid almost 1000 dollars for a new coil. The Freon still leaked. Had another company come out who easily found and fixed the leaks after one visit. The good thing about this business is that they will send you a bill so you don’t have to pay up front. "April 2024 we had a Donald Alred technician come to check our heating unit, located in our attic, that had gone out. The tech was up there about 10 minutes and said he fixed it, and left. The weather changed the following day to 80°'s and we switched to using the air-conditioning. Unbeknownst to us the tech had bumped the tube that drains the air-conditioning condensation out of place and water started coming up through our floors within 3 days of him being here. We shut the water off to the house but it kept flooding. Flooding almost our entire downstairs before we could get an inspector out who finally found the cause and we got it stopped. It cost us our deductible, months of grief, having the flooring and more ripped out throughout our home, destroyed a bathroom, having to have our entire downstairs packed up and move out for construction and so much more. We only asked Donald Alred Heating & Air to pay our deductible since it was completely their technician's fault that our home flooded and caused us almost 50K in damages, personal property losses and restoration. Donald Alred heating & air refused. Claiming they had done an investigation and determined they were not at fault. (Anyone surprised?!) There was no investigation. They did not come to the house to see where the water had pooled, they did not contact the restoration company as to the source of the damage, didn't contact the city building inspector, didn't contact the leak detection specialist the insurance sent out, they never even called us. No one else had been in our attic, and no doubt, their negligent tech caused the issue that caused our home to flood."
