I discovered (after I had paid) that the step gear box was stripped out and the motor fried, so the steps just hung there lifeless. I felt they should have, at least, told me they broke the steps, and offered to fix them. They did drop the actual charges vs. the service estimate a little, but new steps were $600 plus installation. About $500 more than the service costs.
I felt they were cheap and sneaky not telling me to my face they broke my RV steps.
Service guy at counter appeared to have little knowledge of the Freightliner chassis RV.
