"From beginning to end, the service provided by Wambo's WaterWorks was urgent, professional, and effective. As a renter, not only did my service professional consult with my landlord- he also consulted with me. Upon arriving, the service professional surveyed both the interior and exterior of the property and reported his findings back to me. The information provided was clear and concise. Upon returning with the necessary supplies, he safely removed my toilet and examined/cleaned beneath it. Instead of just installing the new toilet, my service professional went deep enough to identify the main cause of my plumbing issues. After providing this analysis, he proceeded to install the new toilet and ensure that the water was flowing smoothly. He also allowed me to test out other areas of the house and cleaned up after the service. I am incredibly thankful and please with Wambo's WaterWorks. The company's service comes highly recommended from me as I will certainly use them in the future for any associated needs."

"quick and easy. toilets draining very slowly, previous pump of tank from other vendor did not remove solids so tank filled up in 4 months again because old field failed (inadequate size). so thigpen put in additional smaller tank with pump to send to the ditch. came out next day after i called to diagnose, then back in a few days to dig and install. it took two guys over a few hours and problem solved. price as expected. guys professional and friendly. would use again."

"I had a great experience with Happy Pipes Plumbing in Oxford, MS. My drains had been gurgling for a couple of days, and then everything backed up all at once?total nightmare. I gave them a call, and they were able to come out the same day. The team was super professional and clearly knew what they were doing. They diagnosed the issue quickly and got everything cleared out without any hassle. The gurgling is gone, the drains are flowing like they should, and I?m seriously relieved. Highly recommend them if you?re dealing with any plumbing issues?they definitely live up to the name Happy Pipes!"

"They've been out before several years ago. We live in a neighborhood that everybody is on the sewer except for us. For some reason there is a creek that kind of ran through my yard and the city evidently 25 years ago wouldn't take them into the creek. So I am the only person with a septic tank. I recall the truck, you would think for septic...it's a pretty fancy truck. For what they do, they represent themselves very well. I thought I would have to schedule for weeks, they came out the next day."

"I can’t say it enough. Outstanding, professional, knowledgeable, etc. these guys came out last night in a emergency situation and handled what had been an issue for three other plumbing companies. The explained to us what the problem was and solved it in a matter of an hour. I will be hiring them again for my stepdaughters plumbing issue and anyone else I know that needs them. I give them a 10 star rating if I could. These guys are absolutely amazing at what they do."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

First, check that you have cut off the water supply to your toilet. This is a project that can only be done safely if running water cannot reach your toilet fixture. If you're seeing water trickle out after you've confirmed that the water supply is shut off, you can probably rest assured that what you're seeing isn't a problem. It's common for leftover water to spill out when you're removing your toilet's fill valve. If something goes wrong while you're working on your toilet, you'll need to look at your home's policy to see if your homeowner insurance covers water damage.

You definitely can over-tighten toilet tank bolts. Unlike some other materials, porcelain can’t bend or flex, so when you over-tighten a screw into it, it could break against the added pressure. Only tighten them as much as needed to keep them in place and firm; any more and you could risk breaking the porcelain.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Silicone-based caulk is known for its waterproofing qualities, so it’s the best option for any bathroom area. While it’s often more expensive, it will provide a better, longer-lasting seal than acrylic or latex caulk. Use it along the base of the toilet to prevent leaks and keep the area clean and protected.

Options include standard, dual-flush, and low-flow models. Choose based on water efficiency and design preferences.
