"They arrived on time and were finished by 10:00am. Cut a tall River Burch next to house and trimmed limbs on an ash tree and crepe Myrtle trees and cut a tree off of my barn blown down from storms. They did an excellent job, knew what they were doing. Cleaned up and my yard. Will hire again if I need more tree service. Keith was a professional and a really nice person."

No. Topping a tree refers to severely cutting down all its major branches and tree in a straight line. It was once recommended for streetside deciduous trees but has fallen out of practice. Some people prefer to leave or even carve a leftover stump, but we recommend removing it if possible. You can often dig out smaller trunks with a shovel once they have died and dried out. You can have stumps professionally removed, or request a service to grind them down to ground level so they can be replaced with other landscaping or objects.
