"They were able to come fix my fence that was damaged by the hurricane in between working other jobs and did an amazing job and the price was very reasonable. They were also very professional and friendly."

"

Job was done on the date promised, in the time span estimated and at the price quoted. The two man team properly braced the porch roof before tearing the old column out. They built the new column on site. The team removed all tear down debris as well as the trash from the construction phase (a really big plus in my book since I have had other contractors leave their trash for me to clean up.) The contractor asked for a deposit before they began and the balance after the work was completed. I marked them down on punctuality since they told me that they would be here at 9:00 but it was 90 minutes later before they arrived and another 30 minutes before they started work. As I said above, the work completion was promised for the end of the day and they met that.

"Other than a late start the team was focused and knowledgeable. They took great care to cleanly remove the damaged flooring and professionally install the replacement. It should be notes that the old flooring was incorrectly glued, making the task very tedious and difficult. The result is that you can't tell where the repair is without knowing its location. Well done."

"I only use James when I need some work done to my house. He responds fast, gets the work done quicker than just about anyone else I've ever used and seems very concerned with leaving his customers happy."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Mccomb, leaning posts, sagging wood fence panels, or gaps in vinyl fencing often signal the need for fencing work. If you notice white residue on metal, it’s likely a sign of coating failure. However, standing water along the fence line points to drainage problems, not fencing issues, and electrical gate failures after storms should be handled by an electrician, not a fence contractor.

Helpful?

In Mccomb, backyard privacy fences and pool enclosures are most likely to need attention due to frequent rainfall and high humidity. Front yard fencing along busy roads can also deteriorate from soil shifting and vehicle exposure. Fence posts, especially those set in clay soil, and gate hardware are particularly vulnerable to rot, rust, and movement from Mccomb’s weather conditions.

Helpful?

In Mccomb, overwatering plants near your wood or vinyl fence, letting vines like kudzu climb unchecked, and using harsh pressure washing can all reduce fence lifespan. Storing firewood or equipment against privacy fences traps moisture, while ignoring drainage issues leads to rot. Scraping chain-link fencing with metal tools can damage coatings, making rust more likely in Mccomb’s humid climate.

Helpful?

In MS, address storm-damaged fences, unstable posts, or pool fence code violations right away for safety. Fix visible rot, broken gates, or spreading rust within a month. Minor cracks in wood fences or loose boards can wait up to six months, while cosmetic issues and slight settling are best handled during annual maintenance, ideally in Mccomb’s drier fall or early spring seasons.

Helpful?

For fencing projects in Mccomb, keep a post-hole digger, level, and concrete mix for setting posts in clay soil. Stock up on galvanized screws, waterproof wood stain, rust converter, and anti-fungal wood treatment. Having drainage gravel and spare gate hardware is helpful for quick repairs. These supplies address the specific challenges of maintaining wood, vinyl, and chain-link fences in Mccomb’s humid climate.
