"A&A from initial phone call which was within 30 minutes of my request and on site visit with solid estimate in the next 30 minutes. They delivered well beyond expectations. We were able to not only exceed our goals of insulating the floor, cleaning air ducts and getting the attic insulation up to proper standards. but also the work was completed within 48hours. That does not happen very often for any project. The entire crew was personable and were very tidy too. The overall job can be messy but no issues at all. We had a larger project and very happy to be able to work with a family owned local contractor. We recommend A&A without reservation and a side note their prices are very fair. Definitely give them a chance to bid on your project."

Hi, I’m Madisen — professional cleaner, bread enthusiast, and firm believer that everyone deserves a clean home without a side of judgment.\n\nLife gets messy. Kids happen. Depression happens. ADHD happens. Work gets crazy. Sometimes your laundry pile develops its own ecosystem. I’ve seen it all, and I promise I’ve never walked into a home thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe this.” Usually I’m thinking, “Challenge accepted.”\n\nMy goal is simple: make your home feel lighter, fresher, and more peaceful while making you laugh at least once along the way.\n\nI’m the kind of cleaner who will scrub your baseboards like they personally offended me, celebrate finding the floor again under the toy avalanche, and possibly show up with homemade bread for your first cleaning because that’s just the kind of chaos I’m bringing to the business.\n\nThis is a judgment-free zone. Whether your house is spotless and you just need an extra set of hands, or you’re one unfolded laundry basket away from filing a missing

"I’ve used Green’s AC cleaning several times for my home HVAC system. He is always prompt, professional, and his prices are very reasonable. He also follows-up to make sure the work he completed is still working correctly. I’d definitely recommend Greens AC cleaning and repair."

Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

When faced with HVAC issues, it's best to begin by ensuring the thermostat settings are correct for either heating or cooling. If the system isn't responding, check the thermostat for proper function and power supply. It's also important to examine air filters, as clogged ones can decrease performance. Confirm the power supply to the system by checking the circuit breakers and fuses. If these basic steps fail to resolve the issue, contact an HVAC professional for a more detailed diagnosis and repair.

Window ACs use 500 to 1,400 watts per hour of electricity, while mini-splits use 500 to 700 watts per hour. However, if you need to cool multiple zones in your house, your mini-split can use as much as 2,000 watts per hour. How often you run your system will impact how much electricity you use (and how much you pay per month).

Yes, HVAC zoning is generally considered worth the investment by both experts and homeowners. Zoned systems offer significant benefits in convenience, efficiency, and comfort by allowing you to set different temperatures for various rooms or 'zones' in your house. This ability to heat and cool only the spaces you're using leads to energy savings and lower utility bills. Zoned systems are especially effective in multi-level homes that experience temperature fluctuations, but even smaller homes can benefit from the ability to adjust temperatures more quickly. While the up-front installation cost can be high, many find it's a worthwhile long-term investment, particularly for those who plan to stay in their home for a while.

High humidity is one of the most common reasons for air vents to sweat or produce condensation. When the cool, dry air from your HVAC unit meets warm and moist air in your home, it will cause condensation. Insulating your ductwork can help prevent this. If you live in a very humid region, a dehumidifier can also help.

If you’re looking for a portable, budget-friendly cooling solution that doesn’t require any venting or installation, a ventless AC system is a good option. Similarly, this is a great choice if you’re renting an apartment or home and aren’t allowed to make large, structural changes like installing comprehensive HVAC, or you’re in a shared space and only need to cool your own room.
