"We found Home Complete Solutions LLC on Angi after trying to find a local electrician for six months. The owner, Oniel, called immediately to schedule an estimate and kept me posted of his arrival time as well as his findings throughout the process. I live out of state and hired him to help my older father at a rural homestead. My dad was impressed with Oniels work ethic and knowledge. That is saying something!! Oniel and his team quickly solved the issue and we are going to have more work done. I am so grateful we found Home Solutions. I especially appreciate how Oniel kept me, the off site daughter, informed and in the loop. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced. Again, impressed they would make the trip out to very rural area to help us!"

Small jobs welcome

"Grant was hired to rebuild a boat dock on a lake. He surveyed the job, planned the job and started exactly when he promised. He discovered a lot of rotten wood when he took up the old dock and adjusted his plans accordingly. He got into the water wearing waders to complete the work. The dock and cleanup were completed a day early. I glad to recommend his company for your next project!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Many older homes in MS feature pier-and-beam foundations. When working in these crawl spaces, plumbing modifications directly affect nearby electrical wiring and HVAC ductwork. If you rely on a private well or septic system, changing water volume or rerouting pipes impacts your entire water treatment setup. Always coordinate with a licensed contractor to ensure modifications account for high municipal water pressure and do not disconnect central air condensate drains.

Helpful?

Routine plumbing maintenance in Houston requires preparing for winter freezes by insulating exposed crawl space pipes and draining outdoor hose bibs. Because local groundwater contains moderate mineral levels, you must flush your water heater tank and inspect the anode rod periodically to prevent sediment buildup. Additionally, schedule regular sewer line inspections to catch aggressive tree root intrusion early, and pump your septic tank on a strict schedule.

Helpful?

In Houston, expansive clay soils shift with the seasons, placing stress on underground pipes. Watch for recurring wet spots in your yard during dry spells or slow drains across multiple fixtures. These indicate serious line leaks or root intrusion. Additionally, rust-tinged water or pressure drops after a winter freeze signal failing infrastructure. Address these early warnings by contacting a local professional to prevent extensive damage to your plumbing system.

Helpful?

Before starting plumbing projects in Houston, verify all local permit requirements and ensure your hired professional holds a valid state license. Plan underground work outside of the rainy spring season, as saturated clay soils complicate excavation. Check your crawl space access points to prevent labor delays. Finally, identify your existing pipe materials early to avoid mid-project surprises when connecting new fixtures to older galvanized or cast iron systems.

Helpful?

New homeowners in MS should start their initial plumbing projects by locating and testing the main water shutoff valve to prepare for freezing temperatures. Next, inspect your crawl space to assess the condition and material of existing pipes. You should also determine the age of your water heater, as local mineral content accelerates sediment wear. Finally, investigate any slow drains immediately to stop rapid tree root growth.
