We have seasoned employee, contractors and subcontractors with extensive knowledge of the specific field in need. Our initial trip charge for a repair is 75.00 with a 45.00/hr rate on most quick turn hourly jobs. Most of our work is quoted as a complete turn key proposal and not hourly. New construction initial visit usually has no fee. We tackle jobs most contractors shy away from, and use products most contractors don't understand. The products we sell last so much longer, do a better job and cost less to operate therefore we do not have call backs that could cost you more money than the initial investment. We can provide a warranty others do not, such as a two year labor and three year product warranty on most of our equipment. We build it right. Our invoicing depends on the project. If it is hourly its due upon completion. Projects are on a draw basis usually four (4) draws 40%, 40% 15% 5%. This can vary. We are a Specialty Construction Company with in-ground pools and in-ground storm shelters. WE DIG IT!!! 4U.

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

A well does not run out of water because the groundwater continues to refill with rainwater that seeps through the ground. If the well is too shallow or there is a drought, a well can run dry or be short in supply. It’s important to have a well deep enough to source enough water for your home’s use. Deeper wells tap into more groundwater reserves. If your well is not producing enough water, you may need to redig your well.

Many pros offer rapid response services to restore essential water flow quickly.

How do you set your well’s pressure tank? All you need to do is first drain the tank of water and find the pressure switch. Remove the switch cover and adjust the switch with a wrench—clockwise to increase water pressure, and counter-clockwise to reduce it. Each complete turn of the nut on the switch should equal 2.5 psi. Once this is done, replace the switch cover. All that’s left is to adjust the pressure of the tank itself using an air compressor and a tire gauge to support the new setting.

Most well pump pressure switches have a factory setting of 30 to 50 PSI. There’s some flexibility with this if you’d like a lower or higher water pressure, but remember that it should sit 2 to 3 PSI above your well tank’s general pressure setting.

The inside of your pressure switch cover will usually indicate minimum and maximum settings—going below and above the numbers might damage your well pump.

Most professionals recommend that a deep well pump shouldn’t run more than 10 hours consecutively before cycling off. Overworking the well pump beyond the recommended amount can prematurely wear out your pump and burn out the motor, which means replacing it more often than you otherwise should need to. Your well pump should also come with the manufacturer’s use and maintenance recommendations that are specific to the model.
