"My wife and I were very pleased with the work performed. We initially thought there was something seriously wrong with our system, but Jerry called to thoroughly explain what the problem was and we were relieved to learn it was a relatively minor problem. We were even more relieved when he told us how much it would cost to repair. All told, the system was pumped out, Jerry got us on the right path with a good treatment plan that's easy to remember, and we had the plastic lid and riser replaced. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing an honest, reliable and courteous company to work on their septic system.

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

DIY home gardening can be relaxing, joyful, and cost-effective. From mowing your lawn to planting your own flower beds, there is a wide variety of gardening tasks that you can do yourself to make your yard look beautiful. If you’d rather spend your time not in the dirt, or if you’d like someone to take care of your plants for you, calling a professional gardening service is best. They can give you a workup of what services you’ll need and how often to schedule them.

During normal temperatures, you should mow about once per week. However, if your grass is distressed by extreme heat, you should avoid mowing it altogether. Wait until after an irrigation session or rainfall. That way, your grass will be good and hydrated before you mow. Remember, you should not mow the grass when it’s wet. Wait until it dries first.

Some things you can do to prepare for yard work services are aerate the soil, fertilize your grass, keep weeds under control, regularly mow your lawn, and water your grass.

Lawn care is tough work—even when you hire pros, there’s no guarantee your grass won’t die (unless, of course, your company offers a guarantee). But lawn care companies don’t control the rain or watering restrictions. Your type of grass also impacts the type of care required to keep a lush lawn—and how much that care costs. Talk to a lawn care pro to determine the best times to treat your lawn based on type of grass and your climate.

DIY is possible for small properties. Professional services ensure consistent quality and proper maintenance for large areas.
