"600sqft slab, 28sqft driveway and small sidewalk. Overall very satisfied with work performed. Good communication, Harmon always answered phone or returned calls. Prompt, after job was started Harmon was on site every day weather permitted work. Cleanup, Harmon did an excellent job keeping site clean and left it in good condition at job end. By far the best price, 25% less expensive than 4 other estimates. End result (in my opinion) is equal or superior to what I would have recieved from other more expensive contractors."

Small jobs welcome

"We weren't sure who to hire and found this service online. They gave me this company from Springfield. We weren't sure who we were getting. He was wonderful. He was able to get our entire house painted in a few days. He prepped every room. He cleaned up his mess and really did a good job. He put a lot of extra work into each room, even painted closets! The rooms look perfect. The price was great. We have already told our friends and family about him. Thanks for helping us find this company."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

When you’re painting a garage floor, it’s best to use a combination of rollers and brushes. You’ll want to start with a brush, making a border around the edges where the floor meets the wall. From there you can use a roller, though some people also like to do the entire first coat with a brush because it’s easier to work the paint into the textured concrete.

When you are laying hardwood flooring—or any other material that does not flex well with humidity—you will want to check the moisture level of your subfloor before proceeding. Flooring like luxury vinyl tile and bamboo performs better than more rigid materials in environments where moisture might be present. However, thorough testing is always an excellent preventative measure to control and monitor water in your home.

The type of paint you use on concrete influences how long it will last. Epoxy paint can last as long as 30 years and often comes with a warranty for at least 15 years. Another factor impacting the longevity of the paint is how much wear and tear the floors receive, such as heavy machinery or constant foot traffic, which can shorten the life span.

Epoxy paint is a popular option for concrete due to its durability and stain resistance. You can also use masonry paint, which adheres well to concrete. Acrylic paints are more affordable but not as durable. Concrete stain is another option, which is more durable than paint and won’t peel over time.

Factors like the time of day you choose to seal the concrete, temperature, humidity, and airflow will impact drying time. To shorten the drying time, seal concrete in the late afternoon on a day with a temperature between 45 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
