"The owner himself came to my home, unaware until the installation occurred that the owner was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful for my small window replacement. Treated me with the utmost courtesy as if it were a large job. He made a promise and fulfilled that delivery on day before Thanksgiving. I would recommend Hyperion for any glass or window job hands down. I tried to tip the service man on the return and He said no thank you it’s our job! That tells me that Hyperion is also a great place to work. Happy employees make happy service calls!"

"This crew was fast, friendly and professional . Very little inconvenience and took the time to double check their work and ensure I was happy with the sliding glass door and all the features. Had to clean up a bit outside but not bad and one of the guys even did some vacuuming. Very happy with my experience and was worth the wait."

"Matt arrived on time and was efficient at replacing floor tiles. Do you think customer service is gone, well so did we until Matt Hemingway came to replace three broken tiles. He finished in 90 minutes and that included going back to hardware store for a different color grout because he didn't like the way it looked. When done you could not tell the floor had been fixed. Excellent job. Highly recommend."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

The height of a mirror behind a vanity depends on several factors, including the height of the vanity, the placement of the faucet (on the wall or countertop), and the height of the faucet. A good rule of thumb is to hang the mirror 5 to 10 inches above the vanity’s highest point. However, you may need to lower the mirror based on the vanity size and overhead lighting placement.

For small, non-pressure-related cracks, you can fix them using two-part epoxy. This spares you the cost and hassle of replacing the glass. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.

The best way to transport wine glasses is to pack them upright in a divided, padded box designed specifically for stemware. First, wrap each glass individually with bubble wrap or packing paper, ensuring both the bowl and the delicate stem are cushioned. If you don't have a divided box, you can still pack them safely. After wrapping each glass and securing the material with tape, place them upright in a sturdy box. Layer soft items like dish towels, crumpled paper, or clothing between the glasses to prevent them from touching. Fill any remaining gaps with additional padding to keep the glasses snug and prevent shifting. Finally, clearly label the box as “FRAGILE GLASSWARE” or “FRAGILE–HANDLE WITH CARE” to ensure careful handling.

Yes, smart glass can be blacked out. Blackout smart glass allows homeowners to turn windows from transparent to blacked out instantaneously.

You should dust your mirrors once every one to two weeks as a part of your normal cleaning routine, and you should plan on cleaning with a glass cleaner or DIY cleaning solution once a month or so. This will help reduce the buildup of hygiene products like hair spray on the mirror, as well as oils and dirt from fingers. You can always spot-clean between regular cleanings if you notice your mirror getting dirty or smudged.
