"Jack with premium sealing is amazing replied instantly after I sent my lead in he came out at a time that worked great for me was very helpful with getting me to understand the process and what needed to be done on my ranch lane he put down a great base so that way my lane would stay solid and last for years he put down 2 layers of chip rock with hot tar and made my lane look fantastic couldn’t ask for a better job from a smart respectful young man anyone in need of work I highly recommend Jack Pierce with premium sealing"

"It went great! I thought that an army had arrived. I wished that I had a larger parking lot than just a two car driveway. They were efficient and careful. They listened to what I wanted and made sure it happened that way. They went above and beyond making sure the site (Alley) was cleaned, swept and picked up. They left it better looking than they found it. The only reason they got a B instead of an A was the difficulty in setting the appointment. After they got there is was smooth sailing. Thanks!"

"Kevin was very responsive to our very tight schedule.  He was able to get the job done, when no one else could.  His price was also very reasonable.  His outfit is small, so we did have a day's a delay, when a piece of equipment was damaged.  However, Kevin appears to be a hard worker, who will do whatever he can to get the job done.  The end result was very professional and clean.

"Noe and his crew did a great job. He worked with us in selecting the plants and took the time to explain what he thought would work. They paid attention to details and it turned out even better then we expected. We have received several compliments from our neighbors, and I will contact them again when we redo our backyard."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

To maintain their strength, asphalt driveways and parking lots need to be sealcoated once every two to five years. You may also need to reapply paint striping every few years as it fades to ensure drivers can safely navigate the parking lot.

Asphalt driveways last anywhere from 15 to 30 years, but if you don’t stay on top of repairs, you may find yourself spending extra to replace your driveway before its typical lifespan. Stay on top of repairing cracks and potholes by routinely inspecting your driveway once or twice a year. It’s a good idea to pressure wash your asphalt driveway at least once a year to keep it clean. Apply a sealer every one to five years, based on your climate.

Chip seal layers gravel and a liquid bitumen one at a time on-site, while asphalt directly pours a pre-combined mixture. Asphalt must be sealed, but it will last up to four times as long as chip seal driveways. Aesthetically, chip seal has a natural, rustic look compared to the traditional asphalt slab.

If you’re looking for a similar, eco-friendly driveway material, you might consider one of these options:

  • Permeable pavement: This material is sometimes called “pervious” or “porous” pavement; it allows stormwater to drain into the subbase, eliminating storm drain costs.

  • Gravel: Consider paving your driveway with locally sourced gravel. By sourcing from a nearby source, your money won’t fund international shipping and will be invested back into your local community.

  • Natural stone pavers: Because natural stone pavers are made from organically-produced stone, there’s no new manufacturing required, limiting the environmental impact. In addition, water easily flows and drains through the gaps in the pavers.

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.
