"I highly recommend this company. My insurance company tried to lowball me after storm damage. However, this awesome roofing company met the appraiser at my home and pointed out all the damage the insurance company conveniently overlooked. Due to their help, they got the insurance to cover the whole job. The roofing company is fast, very hardworking and very professional. I’ve recommended them to my friends, neighbors and family members. Personally I have used this company twice with incredible results."

"Brandon Gentges of BG Renovations and Repairs LLC took over repairing water damage to my kitchen and half bath after the initial contractor quit the job with no notice. Brandon came in and fixed the damage. His work is of the finest quality. He gladly answered all of my questions and let me know what time he would be here on the previous day. For example on Monday he would tell me what time he would be here on Tuesday. He listened to what I wanted and he carried out my wishes to the T. Because the water damage repairs entailed a Insurance claim he dealt with them so I wouldnà ¢à  à  t have to. My repairs included wiring, plumbing, new cabinets, new tile floor and new counter-tops and painting. He cleaned up each day and laid down paper or plastic sheeting, or cardboard to protect my wood floors in the foyer and dining room. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for someone to do repairs or a full blown remodel. Nancy Roberts"

Roofing questions, answered by experts

An insulated garage benefits from roof vents to ensure proper ventilation and prevent moisture buildup. Insulation can trap moisture in the garage, especially during temperature fluctuations, and roof vents play a crucial role in expelling the moisture in the air. Including roof vents promotes air circulation, preventing condensation and enhancing overall air quality.

Wood shake roofs are durable, energy-efficient, and offer a natural aesthetic. Composite options provide similar looks with less maintenance.

Yes, roof ridge caps are a necessary part of your roof system. Your roof ridge cap is at the peak of your roof, where two slopes of your roof meet. Roof ridge caps seal the seam and help protect your roof from water and debris, and because they’re pre-bent and thicker, they’re more suited to the job than regular roof shingles, which can break when bent.

Yes, because it prevents water damage, deters pests from accessing the roof decking, protects the roof from wind damage, and lengthens the roof's life. Plus, building codes require it.

In most cases, below 40 degrees Fahrenheit is too cold to replace a roof. The cold affects the shingles, making it more difficult to adhere them to your roof. It also becomes dangerous for contractors to get up on your roof in the cold weather, as there can be ice and slush causing surfaces to become slippery.
