"My kitchen sink faucet was leaking and needed to be replaced. I called Tony LaMartina because they are in my area and had a very good rating. The plumber came out and asked if I had a new faucet. When I didn't (I wouldn't have known what kind to get), the plumber said they did not have any faucets available and he would have to go buy one and it was going to cost more. He was back in a very short time. It only took him 30 minutes to put in the new faucet. After he finished , he told me the cost was $686 which was way more than I expected. I called the office twice to get a receipt to see why it was so much. I was told they do not separate their receipts between labor and materials. After talking to a couple of plumbers, I was told that amount was indeed way more than it should have been. I will never call them again."

He immediately analyzed the problem and determined he could repair the old toilet or I could get a net toilet for about $400 more. His price was exact, I just don't remember exactly what it was because I decided on the new one. This was about what others had quoted me for the toilet I wanted. Jason ordered the new toilet, and it was delivered in about an hour and a half. In the mean time Jason replaced the old turn off valve which didn't work,and then the toilet when it arrived. The job was completed as promised. Jason was a very contentious, thoughtful, and through worker. He even was thoughtful enough to turn my basement lights off when he was finished. If waste can’t drain into a full septic tank, you’ll see water and sewage backing up into your fixtures, but the air that causes gurgling is a result of poor venting. You are more likely to have a clog in your vent stack or a damaged air admittance valve.

Baking soda does very little to nothing for a septic tank, but it can help unclog a drain or clean out a garbage disposal. Rotten tomatoes and yeast are the best ways to increase the bacteria in your septic tank naturally. You can add these to your system once every three months.

There are a few things that can make your drain field fail. These include driving or parking vehicles or heavy machinery on the field, excess sodium in the soil, or having a high water table. You can prevent failure by ensuring your installer checks that your chosen location is suitable for a drain field and properly maintaining your system with the help of a professional.

Your septic tank naturally contains good bacteria, and you won’t really need to do much to put good bacteria in the septic tank. You can use additives like active yeast, rotten tomatoes, or store-bought septic enzymes or chemicals if you’d like, but typically, the system will produce beneficial bacteria on its own. The best way to keep that bacteria thriving is to avoid using chemical drain cleaners, which can kill off the good bacteria in the septic tank.

Perc rates vary dramatically, and a good perc rate could be anything from 5 minutes per inch of drainage to 60 minutes per inch.
