"This company is very easy to work with. A few years ago we had them put in walkway lighting. They offered to come in and set it up so that we could see how it would look and then they would come back and install more or differently depending on how we felt. I actually thought I wanted more lights but they told me I didn't need it. I appreciate they tried to keep the costs down. We've called them back recently to change the motion light on the back of our house. We already had a fixture there so they just needed to put in something different (~$250). Everything I was seeing at Home Depot got poor reviews and I was sick of changing lightbulbs. Daniel responded to my emails in a timely manner and always answered the phone when I called. But also, we were a few minutes late getting to the house and he was in the front fixing the lights (repositioning b/c we'd had landscaping done) they had installed a few years ago!! I was impressed with this."

"Eric was responsive from the initial call. He was able to come address our issue the next business day. We had a series of canned lights go out in our 6 year old home. We also had a doorbell that was not working. Eric took a stepped approach to solving the problem in order to minimize impact on our home and ensure we were fixing the root of the problem. He was able to identify and fix the problem at little cost. He also offered to walk me through how to fix the doorbell since it was the chime rather than the wiring (and thus save me money). I would hire Eric again in a heartbeat."

"Everything turned out fine. When it first arrived, it was damaged in the shipping. It took them quite a while to get something back to us, or even to call me back when I wrote to them. But then, once they got the ball rolling, it went very quickly. It took them probably about a month to even get back to me. The price was very good. "Josh and his men put up about 1000 sq feet of suspended ceiling in my basement to include 9 light troffers and 3 can lights, hooked up my vents I had ready for them, and also put in some wood to fill along some soffit area so I can install trim later.  They even pulled down the orignal wiring for the smoke detector and got that set up in the bedroom down there.  They did an awesome job - I just can say enough good about these guys.

"This was an experiment for me in use of an interior designer online.  THe consultant was helpful in directing me to useful websites to review products and encouraged me to look widely and that was useful. Otherwise I found it difficult to use her services. The online aspect is one reason - looking at colors, e.g. wall colors and considering them for a particular space is difficult to do given than monitors and lighting change the look of things. Also, one cannot get the sense of e dimensional space from 2 dimensional tools
 In addition,  she was only allowed to advise me on one room and I have an open space that includes living, dining and kitchen areas, all of which had to be considered together. It was frustrating that she was not allowed to think about the other spaces when I had to think about all of them together.
The designer pushed me to choose a rug before choosing living room furniture but I preferred to choose the furniture first as it is more difficult to replace.  She was not able to be flexible on this account. Also, when I did not seem interested in buying through their service she seemed to loose interest.
It often took several days for the consultant to get back to me. That is the area where I most fault the individual as opposed to the set up of online consulting. 
In the end, I made my own choices and am happy with them. The experience gave me more confidence in my own instincts.

"We absolutely love the new patio. We love the overall look of the patio and we love the many unique touches that Wade came up with. Examples are a hammered copper sheet adorning the new cedar privacy fence with highlight lighting, the layout of the new landscaping surrounding the patio including a butterfly garden, the unique look of the stamped concrete containing accents that match up well with the colors on our house, and the refinished steps for the hot tub.
We thought the project went very well in spite of all the rain delays. Wade's team stayed on the job until it was complete. The necessity of using a bobcat to remove the old patio resulted in lawn damage, but Wade covered all of these areas with sod when the job was winding down. He even brought in five yards of topsoil to improve the contour of the yard and improve the drainage situation.
Overall we couldn't be happier with the patio and the job that Wade did. His dedication to the project is truly exceptional and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants a nice patio."

"When you purchase this service you are asked to send pictures of the room,  and a layout drawing  with the dimensions in inches.  I sent pictures from every angle in the room.  My layout drawing was rough, but I made sure that the dimensions were correct.  It is important to show doors, and width from door to wall, windows and spaces between window and wall, etc.

Explain how you invision the room and what you would like to keep in the room. You should let her know what you like and dislike as far as fabrics, colors, and style of furniture.  I hate paisley, but failed to include this in the information that I sent to the designer.  So there was some paisley in my concept board. I told her what I liked, but failed to tell her what I disliked and would not want to see in the room.

Once I sent pictures, dimensions, and room layout I received 2  suggested layouts for the room from Jill.  I selected the layout that I preferred.  You they receive a concept board for the room with  her suggested furnishings and fabrics. To my surprise she also gives alternatives to what she suggests.  Her suggestions are in various price ranges so that you can choose within your budget.
