"Consistent, professional, personable… No notes! We contracted Loveland Home Solutions to update our aging home’s electrical system. (update panel, install new recessed lighting, add some new outlets, install surge protectors, etc.) Their responsiveness and professionalism exceeded expectations from bidding to work to follow up. Brendin was great at follow up, answering questions and helping us find the best solution for us. Austin and his team were great and respectful of our home and their work precise and thoughtful. They weren’t the cheapest bid in the pile, but the little extra in our mind was WELL worth the peace of mind and confidence to have true professionals on the job. We will definitely use LHS again and whole heartedly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. Great job guys - thank you!"

"It went extremely well. I called Jason, owner of the company, to schedule the appointment. He was able to schedule my condo in less than a week. Michael was the man that was assigned to us. He called exactly at 8:00 a.m. to tell me he would be 15 minutes late. He arrived exactly 15 minutes later. Michael was totally professional, friendly and efficient. He went through my list repairing each item. He even went above and beyond what was on my list by repairing things I had not included. I asked him to use caulk to fill a hold on the rear of my bathroom counter. He noticed that the caulk on both sides of the counter needed extra caulk so he went ahead and completed the work. When fixing the window Michael noticed that the window shade did not go up properly. He removed the shade and fixed it so it would work properly."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

No, there aren’t additional code requirements for kitchen lights. Kitchen lights and other electrical circuits in the kitchen have different code requirements. Outlets need to be particularly robust because of their frequency of use and proximity to liquids. If you need help determining where to install outlets in your kitchen, consult a local electrician who can ensure that placement is functional and up to code.

If you’ve gone through the troubleshooting checklist for your motion detector flood light and it’s still not working, it’s time to consider a new one. Older models that need frequent fixes can be unreliable. Newer flood lights feature advanced technology that improves your lights’ sensitivity and overall performance. If you’re fed up with unexpected darkness, investing in a new light can give you the lighting you need to feel secure.

The process to cut a circle in drywall for recessed lighting follows a process similar to the process for cutting outlet holes in drywall. The easiest option for making a perfect circle is to use a circle cutter tool. It makes a smooth circle in the drywall quickly, meaning you’ll have less cleanup work to do later. You just have to know the center point of the recessed light before adjusting the circle cutter tool’s length to create the diameter of the circle cut you need.

An exterior lighting professional will normally be able to complete hardwired lighting installation in a day or two, depending on the size of the project, and they can install battery-powered or solar-powered lights in just a few hours. DIYing the project will often take a bit longer, but you can typically install battery- or solar-powered exterior lighting in a single weekend.

Wiring or installing a light the wrong way can lead to potentially dangerous scenarios, including shock and even electrical fires. If you’re the least bit uncertain whether you’ve wired something correctly, the best and safest approach is to call in a professional electrician to handle the installation for you.
