"Everything from the quote through installation was great. Highly recommend. They even went above and beyond by cleaning our existing ceiling fan. It was covered in dust bunnies, so while they had the extra tall ladder used to change out the can lights in our two story great room they took the initiative to do that as well!"

"Bryan was very thorough and honest in his recommendation for rewiring our basement lighting. I could tell that he really had my best interest in mind. Although we decided to not proceed with the project I would definitely call them again."

"Excellent service. I had 3 ceiling fans and 5 ceiling fixtures replaced. The electricians were on time, completed the work without any difficulty, and cleaned up. Both electricians behaved professionally. I would definitely hire this company again."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

While under-cabinet lighting isn’t a requirement, it’s one of those features that, once you add it, you’ll wonder how you ever functioned without it. Ask any interior designer or lighting designer, and they’ll tell you that lighting can transform the look and feel of a room. Under-cabinet lighting is also very functional: You can use it to highlight a display of collectibles, illuminate your work surface during mealtime prep, and more.

There are four main types of lighting used in homes: ambient, task, accent, and decorative. Within these categories, there are a number of fixtures to choose from including ceiling-mounted lights, floor lamps, under-cabinet lights, track lighting, and more.

Choosing the fixture that’s right for you depends on your home design and the area you’re looking to illuminate.

Pool light replacements are often more expensive compared to other pool parts, like pump motors, or standard light bulbs for indoor use. The reason for the higher cost is that pool lights are specially designed and made with parts meant to keep swimmers safe. The light fixture and surrounding parts protecting the bulb must be waterproof, tightly sealed, and resistant to extreme temperatures.

Yes! As a matter of fact, there are many sensors that add motion to existing outdoor lights. These motion sensors attach to pre-existing flood lights and other outdoor lights without any fussy and potentially dangerous electrical work. Additionally, some flood lights and related fixtures ship with motion sensors built-in.

Motion-sensor lights use one watt while on standby and five watts while turned on. They’re usually on for one hour over a 24-hour period, bringing the total wattage to about 28 watts per day. LED lights use around 6.5 to 8 watts while on. If you leave an LED light on all night, with night ranging from 10 to 14 hours, you’re looking at using 65 to 112 watts a night. You can minimally cut your wattage in half by switching to a motion-sensor light.
