Small jobs welcome

"My wife and I hired them to renovate our bathroom and kitchen and install a wheelchair ramp. Man, it looks so great in here. They did their best to save us money and make sure we understood what was going on before, during and all the way until completion. We live in a mobile home which definitely was not as easy as a stick house and they found issues we hadn't been aware of. A 3 day estimate turned into nearly 2 1/2 weeks. Again, the issue wasn't their fault, it was working on the mobile home. They worked tirelessly and met all our needs. Definitely recommend and next room we need done we will be calling for them. They also removed trees around the yard that we needed out. They also hauled off all the materials afterwards. Again, so thankful for all their hard work. Pics of bathroom and what they did. I don't have a completed pic of the kitchen because we are still arranging things and its pretty messy currently."

"We hired Smith’s Land Development to regrade the entrance to our commercial storage facility and address drainage problems. Jesse, the owner, performed the work himself and did an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and completed the project as agreed. The grading and drainage improvements have made a noticeable difference in both functionality and appearance. High-quality work and professional service. Would definitely recommend."

"It was apparent they were very skilled. They quickly dropped the huge limbs without a scratch on the house, fence or sheds surrounding the tree. They arrived on time and cleaned the area to my satisfaction before leaving. And they were competetively priced! I can't say enough good things about this company."

We recommend removing the stump, and grinding is a popular way to do it. You can also dig out small stumps or stumps that have fully decayed instead of grinding them. However, don’t try using acids or fire for killing a tree stump, which is a fire hazard and illegal in many areas.

Leaving the stump alone invites eventual problems, including attracting termites, mold, and fungi.

It can take several weeks for the ground to settle after removing a tree, and the soil under larger, more mature trees can take months. The deeper the tree has been ground under the soil, the longer it will take to settle. However, this extra depth can help you plant new landscaping sooner because you’ll have more space for fresh soil.

To determine whether your homeowners' insurance will cover crawl space repair, consider the cause of the issue. Repair may be covered if the problems were caused by an event that the insurance covers, such as vandalism or a windstorm. However, companies won't cover the repair if the issues are caused by neglect or wear and tear.

Water lines are buried at various depths, depending on the type of line. For example, most sprinkler lines are buried between four and 12 inches underground. On the other hand, water mains usually sit between one and 3 feet below ground. However, they can go even deeper in cold climates to prevent freezing.

The easier way to find buried sprinkler lines is to use the plan from the professionals who installed the system. If you don’t have professional plans, listen for running water on your lawn when you turn on the system. You may also spot wet areas, giving you an idea of where the heads are. Once you find the sprinkler heads, you’ll likely be able to connect the dots between them, revealing the system below.
