"Taylor Luebbering had the job done in one day. He leveled the ground next to our home and down to the edge of our driveway. Mr. Luebbering then had 2 loads of white rock delivered which he then smoothed out as this is fir our travel trailer. Mr. Luebbering also put rock if front of our home and rerocked our driveway. I would DEFINITELY recommend Luebbering Construction to anyone who wants yard work done as he is most reasonable with his price and very prompt in getting the job done to the customers satisfaction!!! "Raymond and his crew were great to work with. We had them pave our subdivision road and complete side jobs for home owner's parking areas and driveways. His pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. His communication was impeccable as Raymond kept me informed on timing, and any project concerns. His crew also showed up on time when they said they would, which is many times at the lake a huge concern. I would definitely use them again. I will be happy to provide references if needed."

The most obvious disadvantage of permeable paving is that the cost is typically higher compared to non-permeable concrete, pavers, or asphalt methods. Also, the porous material can get clogged with dirt and debris, requiring cleaning and power washing more frequently than standard paving materials and methods. Although permeable paving is not ideal for highways, airports, and other surfaces supporting heavy traffic and machinery, it is suitable for regular residential driveways.

If your driveway is cracked, you can repave it with a process called asphalt overlay. Overlay is more cost-effective than a full replacement but is better suited for minor cracks and issues. If you have major cracks or other problems like water pooling, asphalt overlay isn’t your best bet. Plus, paving over a cracked driveway only extends the lifetime by about 10 years, whereas replacing it would start the clock over completely to give you up to 30 years.

The recommended minimum amount for a paver base is 4 inches. From there, it depends on the kind of traffic the pavers will see and the current soil conditions. Two inches of paver base won’t create the amount of stability and support that pavers need to remain securely in place over time.

Permeable paving is a good option for a lot of reasons. It can help prevent flooding, keeps harmful chemicals from polluting our water, and can divert water away from your home’s foundation. Plus, it can add a rustic aesthetic to your outdoor area, might prevent pests who breed in water, and may even qualify for tax rebates.

The layer of polymeric sand under the pavers plus the polymeric sand that gets swept into the joints between your pavers holds them in place in a few ways. For one, the gritty texture of the sand helps lock the pavers together. Polymeric sand also contains bonding agents that get activated by water. Polymeric sand will take between 24 and 48 hours to fully cure, so do not walk on your paver walkway before this time.
