Small jobs welcome

"My husband and I have reached an age that we find certain tasks to be rather difficult. What would have taken us hours to do, Matthew and Chris had done in an hour and a half. They were pleasant and respectful. I'm sure they, along with myself, learned something about sleep number beds. Work ethics are great! Personalities are polite, friendly and funny. These two gentlemen work well together."

"My dumpster arrived on time and was placed exactly where I asked for it to be placed even though nobody was home. I was able to pay online with no problem. I requested that the dumpster be emptied and replaced and instead of them dumping it and bringing it back, they actually brought an empty one and dropped it off before taking the full dumpster away so there was no lag time at all. I would highly recommend this company."

"Really great service! Needed some stuff hauled away and he was able to be here quickly. We had a lot of old shrubs and brush that he made quick work of. Would certainly recommend and plan to use again in the future!"

"Excellent service! The owner removed my old couch from a third-floor apartment all by himself, quickly and professionally. Even though it was just junk, he handled it with great care and respect. He was punctual, friendly, and made the entire process stress-free. The price was very reasonable, and the service exceeded my expectations. I was impressed by his hard work and attention to detail. I highly recommend Eezee Moving Service!"

Waste Removal Services questions, answered by experts

When considering how to dispose of other appliances, a landfill is also usually not an option. The biggest difference is that electrical appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, or dishwashers aren’t as easy to transport as a portable microwave. Some local councils offer bulky uplift services (although a fee may apply), scrap metal recyclers might pick yours up, trade-in options on big items are more common, and some utility companies offer incentivized recycling programs.

If composting feels too complicated, mulching is an effective alternative. While composting focuses on breaking down yard waste to feed the soil, mulching uses that same organic material as a protective top layer. It's a quick way to get value from leaves, grass clippings, and other yard debris without the time or effort composting requires.

Yes, professional installation services often include the removal and disposal of old flooring, which can include materials like carpet. This process may also involve preparing the subfloor for the new installation. It is recommended to confirm the full scope of the service with your provider.

Some flooring companies recycle old carpet after replacing it. The broader flooring industry has been moving toward recycling more carpet material. However, whether an individual carpet gets recycled is up to the flooring company that removes it. When gathering quotes for new flooring in your area, ask each company about removal options and what they do with the material.

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. As you can imagine, this option creates fire hazards, especially since roots can burn underground, hidden, for long afterward. That’s why many states and cities have outlawed the use of stump burning entirely. We do not recommend this option as a viable alternative unless you get a permit from the local fire department and practice all safe burning procedures.

Others prefer a more long-term DIY approach of degrading the stump with home mixtures like Epsom salt and vinegar injected directly into it. This may help the stump decay faster, allowing homeowners to dig it out themselves, but it’s still a lengthy process. It usually takes months for a stump to start falling apart with such treatments, and in the meantime, it can be vulnerable to rot, insects, and other problems.
