"This company was not upfront with their pricing at all. I feel like I was robbed. I was expecting to pay about $300 for my pool to be closed for the year. That is roughly what I have paid in the past 2 years. This company did not tell me that they were going to charge $203/hr between 2 people. They did no other repairs, just felt like charging $1,100 to close a pool. I did not know I was going to be paying someone what I would pay my lawyer to close my pool. I would never have used this company if I would have known I was going to be paying over $1,000 to close a pool. That is insane how they feel comfortable charging that much. There are so many other great pool companies in Springfield to choose from. Please take my advice and use an honest company. I will never use this ridiculous company again."

Small animals, particularly rats and mice, like to burrow inside pool heaters. To keep them out, seal any entry points with caulk or steel wool. Then, place mothballs inside or around your pool heater. As a final measure of protection, you can cover the pool heater in hardware cloth or wood paneling to further block entry points.

The safest pool fence depends on what you’re trying to protect against. If you’re concerned about children and pets, a fence with gaps between or under the material isn’t advisable, as they could get through it. If you don’t have the budget for one, there are numerous ways to warm up your pool without a heater. You can improve the insulation, use solar covers to trap heat from the sun, or even let a black hose sit in the sun until it heats up and delivers fresh, warm water straight to your pool.

If you live in an area where pool enclosures are expected, like in Florida, having one won't necessarily increase your home value. However, it's worth noting that in warm climates, a pool can add $11,600 to $95,000 to a home's value. 

On the other hand, if you're in an area where pool enclosures are not common, having one might set your home apart from the crowd. Depending on the appraiser, you may see an additional $25,000 to $27,000 or more for an enclosed, inground pool when it comes time to sell.
