"We were very satisfied with the repair work. They performed exterior waterproofing system with Helical Tieback . Also installed sump pump system in the basement. The entire crew team very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable and were easy to work with. Everything was done in a timely manner. We would highly recommend Vic and his crew; and also Kody and his team."

"Explained exactly what they would do and the condition they would leave the area in. Weâ re good for their word. Very heavy rain just three days afterward and everything held. No water in basement since they did their work and itâ s been 9 months."

"thank you Matthew Pickett and Cesar for thier help with my furnace. My basement flooded last month with all the rains last month and the water was over top of the furnace. I called Reddi to come out and look at it and unfortunately my furnace was beyond repair. Matthew not only got me set up with a new one he was able to modify my duct and raise my furnace a good distance off the floor (which i was told by multiple people that could not be done, which made me skeptical that it couldactually be done) not only did he make sure it happened, he was confident and knowledgeable in this. His install crew Greg and Diego knew what they were doing and performed the work just as Matthew said. No hesitations or complaints. I will not trust any other company but this one from here on out. amazing hard work and dedication"

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

To maintain an outdoor structure, perform regular inspections for damage, leaks, and weak joints. Clean the structure regularly, treat or repaint wood surfaces for weather resistance, and reinforce any weak joints to prevent deterioration and ensure its longevity.

Installing storm windows can protect your home’s interior from heavy storms. Most storm windows are made with enamel-coated aluminum with screens and sliding glass panels. They also make your house more energy-efficient. The average storm window cost is $12,000, ranging between $4,250 and $19,850, depending on mounting, window types, glass types, and frame materials.

There are several small, inexpensive upgrades you can make to upgrade your basement. Although you still need to adhere to building codes and obtain permits when necessary, you can complete small but mighty tasks like painting the masonry walls and installing entertainment devices to make the space more usable.

Yes, it is possible to over-dehumidify a house by removing too much moisture from the air. This can create an overly dry environment that negatively affects those with respiratory or skin issues, and may cause your skin, hair, and sinuses to feel dry. However, this is unlikely to happen with most modern dehumidifiers, as they are equipped with moisture sensors and adjustable settings. These features allow the unit to pause automatically when the desired humidity level is reached, preventing the air from becoming uncomfortably dry. In contrast, older or more basic dehumidifiers left running for too long could potentially over-dry the air. To avoid this, aim for a balance between removing excess moisture and maintaining a comfortable environment. You can often monitor your home's humidity levels using a modern thermostat for guidance.

The most flood-resistant materials you can count on in a flood scenario are concrete, closed-cell insulation, foam insulation (also known as expandable foam), pressure-treated wood, marine-grade plywood, and ceramic tile. When a material is flood-resistant, it can withstand direct contact with floodwater for at least 72 hours without being significantly damaged.
