"I asked about vacuuming the furniture as part of the cleaning. The owner told me he relies on his cleaning machines to get the dirt. I did some vacuuming myself before they came. After they left I checked some of the areas like the back of the loveseat and corners of the couch. There were clumps of animal fur. They knew I had a cat but did not make sure the clumps that came up were gone. When checking to see if the furniture was dry I put my hand under the back cushions and found crumbs and even a small plastic toy. I would say the people he sent were not very thorough. I used a sticky lint brush and the vacuum to finish the job."

I find this topic very divisive and personal. Another issue was the dirt and dust that he cleaned from the window seals ended up on my floors and/or furniture next to the windows. I think he used my bathroom sink to discard or rinse something, but, didn't wipe the sink afterwards so it was dirty/gritty. Lastly, the window screen above my kitchen sink was not secured properly after it was cleaned, so it's hanging out a bit, and I'm going to have to wrestle with a ladder to fix it."
