"My house sits on a ¾ acre lot. When I moved in 14 years ago, ½ acre was so totally overgrown with brush and trees a dachshund couldn’t have chased a rabbit through it. Within two years I had 34 trees removed. A few years later I had another 14 removed. By then I had a pretty good idea of what tree removal should cost. Recently, two forty foot tall walnut trees in the front of my lot appeared to be creating a hazard, so I decided to have them removed along with another dead tree about the same size which was at the back of my lot. After initiating the process through Home Advisor, Mr. and Mrs. Martinez were the first to call, and came out promptly to give me an estimate for the work. I thought the bid was quite fair but did get another just to be sure. The second one was significantly higher, so I gave the go ahead to Mr. Martinez. Their crew arrived at exactly the appointed time, completed the project more quickly than I would have thought possible, cleaned up thoroughly after themselves, and were very pleasant to work with.
