"I contacted them about my 83-year-old father’s yard, which had become severely overgrown. The shrubs and bushes needed significant trimming, and the grass was in desperate need of cutting. They came out on a Sunday to provide a quote and started the job the following Saturday. They worked diligently until the rain became too heavy to continue, then returned the next day to finish the job. They did an excellent job, and we were extremely pleased with the results. They also came back on Tuesday to remove all the yard waste for a reasonable fee and disposed of it properly at the landfill. Going forward, they will be maintaining my father’s yard every two weeks. I made a great choice when I hired them and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable, professional lawn care."

While abandoning a tank without treating it and following strict rules is illegal, there are several other ways to dispose of an old septic tank. One standard method is to pump out and crush the tank where it rests and bury it in the soil. Another is to remove it and transport it to a landfill. Finally, if abandonment is the best option, your contractor must pump out the tank and fill it with inert material, such as sand or concrete, depending on local regulations.

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.

Many recycling centers will not recycle Styrofoam because it is very difficult to return to its base form. Additionally, many recycling facilities do not have the proper equipment to compact or densify recycled polystyrene foam into new foam blocks. Ultimately, the entire process for recycling polystyrene foam is expensive and takes a lot of time.

Yes, you can conduct your own leaf removal, but consider that keeping up with leaf removal is time-consuming and requires regular yard work throughout the fall. The process can take a few hours a week. Professionals have lawn equipment that can speed up the process and save you time. Additionally, consider how you’ll dispose of the leaves. If your sanitation company won’t pick them up—especially if you have many bags from a once-annual cleanup— you’ll have to drive the bags to the dump. It’s usually easier to leave the work and disposal to a professional leaf removal service.

To get rid of biohazard waste at home, it's important to seal and dispose of waste items properly. Biohazard waste can include soiled gauze, gloves, bandages, needles, and syringes. Sharp items should be placed in a puncture-resistant container sealed with heavy-duty tape, while all other items can be placed in a tied-off, leak-proof bag. These items can’t be placed in dumpsters or regular municipal waste collection. Instead, contact a hazardous waste removal service.
