Done professionally from estimate to cleanup. Steve was timely, the crew was friendly and hard working, the price was reasonable, the quality of both the work and products used was first class.

They came and replaced all the damaged or rotten wood trim and them primed and painted it. Did a thorough job, and cleaned up as they went along.

Steve, the owner, showed up when promised to do the estimate on power washing and painting 2 coats on all exterior trim, soffits, boxing, and porch rails. He emailed the estimate the next day and I accepted. The work was scheduled and Manuel came on time to do the pressure washing. The next day Manuel and his crew arrived and did the paint job, including hand washing aluminum gutters and downspouts. They returned to finish the following day. The next day Steve and Manuel returned and Steve inspected the work and pointed out several spots that needed touching up which Manuel promptly took care of. All cleanup was done and the work was excellent. In addition Steve and Manuel are both very personable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company.

I liked this company because they work for a contractor that took care of the details for me since I do not live in Wilmington. I could not be there everyday but I did not have to worry about the work being done right because they had a leader that is concerned about the quality of the job.

Scheduling the work was not as easy as I had thought. Work was done well, but it was not as extensive as thought.

They were very good because they did everything from painting, to flooring and repairs.

My only complaint was that additional drywall repair was performed and I did not get notified of the additional cost until the final bill was received. I do think the additional charge was fair, but would have preferred to receive notice of the amount of additional cost earlier.

I am going to hire them to do an added project for me.

The team was prompt and professional. They attended to detail and we are pleased with the results. They used quality materials and did not stop until the job was finished. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

It seems to be a well run company but I believe my project, a complete bathroom remodel, exceeded the skill level of the tradesmen. The floor joists that were replaced must not be level resulting in large gaps between the floor and the molding. There were some framing issues that they offered to fix but because they did not notice the problem themselves I was concerned about how the repairs might work out. The plumbing is my biggest regret. They informed me I did not need a permit for the project but I wish I had pulled a permit anyway. The undersink plumbing and fixture mounting is obviously not done by a plumber.

Steve is an honest professional, who worked around my tight schedule since I was only in town for a few days, to meet with me 3 times to quote, review the project and meet me at the house one more time to be sure we were in synch on all the details before I left. When I came back to town, the house looked great

I am very pleased with the results of this project. It was completed in a timely manner, and when there were delays, they were good about keeping me informed of their plans and progress. If I had any questions or concerns, they were more than willing and helpful in remediating the situation, to make sure I was happy. I would definitely recommend them, and use them again.

We were extremely pleased with Value Added's work on this project, which was a complete interior repainting. The team working on our house was professional in every way - responsive to our requirements, hard-working, and friendly. We have zero complaints and were quite pleased with how the work went and with the results. We would recommend Value Added to anybody seeking housepainting.
