Good communications, (Josie provided e-mails) discounts, attention to detail, promptness, neatness by covering floors with plastic and vacuuming when finished. The pictures were a great help as well. Roof vents help cool a house because as they allow hot air to escape, the temperature regulates inside the attic. Natural fiber batts and spray foam insulation both work great for soundproofing. Newer materials, such as hemp batts, are more expensive but more effective for insulation and sound blocking. They are also more sustainable. There is also a professional system called Blow-In Blanket Insulation (BIBS) that is soundproof and moisture-resistant. However, BIBS must be installed professionally and can be a costly investment.

There are two reasons why cellulose insulation repels rodents (and insects). First, the insulation has been treated with boric acid, which is a natural pest-repellent.
