Phillip and his son were amazing! I reached out to him on a Sunday evening, he returned my call Monday morning. We set an appointment for Monday afternoon. He took his time and explained what he would do and the estimated cost. Our house needed immediate attention due to a contractor's error which caused the brick siding to collapse. Phillip was able to start the repair on our house Wednesday afternoon. Phillip and his son were punctual and professional. They completed our job in a day and a half, on schedule and on budget. Phillip was wonderful to work with! I will hire him again to do further masonry work on our home. He is honest and fair. His work was top notch. They saved my house from a major disaster! I am thankful that I found Phillip on Angie's list!!!!

Work went well. Since their work occurred in late December they worked around the weather (sub-freezing and rain) but was able to complete the project in a week. End result looks great.

It is a very professional team. The work lasted for about a week. As other reviewers said, the bricks they put on perfectly matched the color of other bricks. It is hard to tell which area they worked on. Philip also helped to find out some landscape issue which caused the water issue.

I am very proud to have had this master do our work. A very wet year delayed the time for completion. Mark worked whenever he could and was not able to predict how long the job would take. Also, we added .about 75 feet of walls to his workload, therefore a finish date was impossible to set.

Very well! We had to wait a while before they would be available, but we knew this upfront. Once they got on site they were completely finished in less than 3 days.

The overall process went very well. Mark Perkins was very professional and responsive to our preferences and the crew were very hard working and pleasant. Also, they were quite neat. It was extremely hot but they worked through it. The only glitch was when they started placing stones. I had picked out an example from the intranet done by a Mason in northern Ontario and taped it on the patio. What they were choosing were bigger and sharper and less patterned than what we wanted. We sat down and went over this with Mark and he was very responsive and adapted their work to our plan. I watched the entire process and if there was a stone color or shape that looked out of place I told them. It was obviously very important that we had studied this and knew what we wanted, including pictures. Putting down random shape and varied color flagstones is like designing and implementing a piece of art. They can't read your mind. Mark was here working with the crew most of the time and was always available by cell phone. Do: Be prepared and know what you want. Be there for the job so you work along with them on the design.

Excellent work. Chimney was leaking, bricks were spalling, and the chimney itself was buckling. Phil took the chimney apart down to about 5 feet and rebuilt it, Had to match 50 year old bricks and you can hardly tell where the new bricks start. Added a new, concrete chimney cap and added a new damper on the top of the flue with a chain down into the firebox.. Had a big crack in the bricks on the side of the house where it had settled many years ago. Rather then just fill in the gap with new mortar, Phil ground out most of the mortar on that side of the house, moved some of the bricks to re-gap the mortar joints and then tuck pointed almost the entire face of the wall. Did a really good job matching the old mortar to the new. Had a wing/retaining wall where the bricks were spalling. Phil took the wall down to the ground and rebuilt it. Had a low retaining wall in the front of the house where some of the bricks had broken, the mortar joints had separated, and some spalling. Removed about half the wall and replaced it with new. Extended the wall about 6 feet back into the house at my request. Phil is the owner and had 2 people helping him on and off during the project. Originally talked to Tri-County back in April. Due to his schedule and our schedule we couldn't start until the middle of July. The entire project took about 2 weeks due to the extreme heat and the chimney being much harder to demo then he thought. Demoing a chimney naturally creates a lot of debris. Phil was about to keep the job site relatively clean but did a very good job cleaning up after all of the scaffolding was removed. When I first contacted Tri-County, Phil showed up exactly when he said he would. We both kept in contact after he gave me his quote to verify when he could start. Phil showed up when he said he would and informed me when he would not be there (and why). Excellent job of communications through out the project. If you can't tell, I am very pleased with the work Tri-County did.

Mr. Coffman is a true professional who took great pride and care in his work. He assessed the water drainage problem in our back yard and made simple but effective changes in guttering and the use of rain barrels that should go a long way in prolonging the life of the stone work. The overall stone work is similar to a fine stained glass window in form and beauty.

Did a great job of tuck pointing the chimney. The cap was not exactly what I wanted, but that was my fault for not following more closely before it was ordered. It will do what it is supposed to do. I would recommend his services to a friend.

He started the work a week early; removed and relaid the bricks from the sidewalk slab one day; repaired and tuck-pointed the sidewalk and two areas on the porch the second day; and acid-washed the porch and sidewalk the 3rd day. The sidewalk looks new and the porch repairs are what we asked for at the estimated price. Excellent service and work!
