"I just had my deck replaced by Level Up and I am very pleased. I had one issue with the deck, but as soon as I let them know they were quick to fix it without any issues. The project was also reasonably priced. I would definitely hire Level Up in the future."

"As far as I know the work is good. I haven t been under the house to look yet. I m waiting for it to dry out and warm up. But I can tell from the inside of the house that my floor is more solid and I have less cold air entering my home from the insulating they did. Workers were nice and courteous. I do feel like if I have a problem that they will address it honorably."

"Corey did a great job in designing a system to fix our sagging floor. It was down 3 inches! With a 4 inch I-beam and jacks, they lifted it back up to level, and it is now rock-solid! Thank you, Corey!"

"They went above and beyond for the problems they encountered. The only complaint we have is the way they left the concrete in the basement. Just used too much concrete and left a ridge."

"Elliott review the area and let us know the plan for the projects before starting and they kept us updated with changes and gave us best option for the projects as needed. The whole whole team was great. We had three parts the the projects. Ron and his team were very professional with the foundation lift. Ian and his team were professional and productive. John and Floyd have good communication and understand the projects and gave us another great option. My mother was very impress with John and Floyd's workmanship."

"I was not at home when the workmen arrived and did the work, but came home as they were pulling away from my house. An earlier appointment had canceled out on them so they moved my job up and decided they would do the job and collect later on. It was well done, they stopped and explained it all to me and I was satisfied with their explanation and the way the job looked. I wrote a check and felt comfortable with the entire project. Friendly and professional."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"This was an A+ experience.  I wish all contractors were like Alonso and his crew.   They were professional, respectful, clean, curteous, and most importantly, extremely competent.   Alonso quietly created a plan to stabailize our home, used the state of the art pier system and provided extraordinary service.   He was also very honest, and after the initial estimate of 15 piers needed, he realized that fewer were actually needed to get the job done.   He charged us for the installed piers and did an amazing job overall.   Now my husband and my house are level again!!   Thanks Alonso!

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.

A good slump height really depends on the project, but there is a use for nearly all slump levels. For example, low slumps are best in projects that require structure, such as curbs and roads. High slumps often require additional reinforcement, but they flow more freely into hard-to-reach spaces.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.
