"Bath Pro KC recently installed two new showers in two of our bathrooms and a new countertop in one of the baths. Also, installed two new toilets. Ron, Nick and Keith were all great to work with, and we are very pleased with the results. All they do is bathrooms, and they do them very well. We highly recommend them."

"Nathan Musto and Joe Smithey did a beautiful job converting a bathtub to a walk-in shower. The quality of the material and the attention to detail was the best! Nathan and Joe are exceptional craftsmen and obviously cared a great deal about the quality of their work. I highly recommend this company, and in particular Nathan and Joe, to anyone needing these services."

"The has done a wonderful on helping restore this 1912 home and I continue to call them back to do more projects and plan to book them for other homes I own. The main drain line was rusted and cracked from the basement floor all the way up to the second floor bathroom, which they replaced. This requires tearing down an old plaster and putting in new drywall that turned out seamless. I decided to turn an old pantry into a laundry room. They ran the plumbing and electrical for the room, framed the old doorway and drywalled it. Many rooms had old switches and outlets that they replaced. Ceiling fans were old and replaced. The former for the attic was missing siding and the windows were falling apart. They resided, painted and installed new windows. They set a new toilet and installed a new vanity which required new water lines. Relocating the vanity also meant running a new switch and installing a new vanity light."

"Jericho sent out a man to remove the jacuzzi, floor tile, vanities, existing mirrors and move the toilet while the vanity cabinets were on order. By the time he finished, the cabinets arrived, and the installation began. Throughout the process, the bathroom door (which is an open entry) was covered with plastic and fabric to prevent dust from engulfing our bedroom. Jericho also covered our carpet and hardwood from the bathroom to the front door to protect our flooring. All tile cutting was done outside. They really gave it their best effort to minimize the impact on the rest of our home while the work was going on.

The hammered copper vessel sinks are truly beautiful. The bathroom fixtures are far superior to anything we could have bought at a home improvement store. They are solid, heavy and are built to last.

Jericho made the process easy. The first day, our designer had several selections of floor and wall tile and vanity styles and finishes to choose from. He met us at the granite warehouse to make our selection and helped us select our lights. I like their Team Approach to managing the project. A Project Manager was assigned to coordinate the project from start to finish. Our designer remained as part of our remodel team and told us to contact him anytime we needed to discuss something. We were given the telephone numbers of the owner and the general manager. The GM dropped in on the project a couple of times to check on progress. It was a big project and it went very smoothly. We now have an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL master bath that is the result of high quality materials and workmanship. We are very pleased with the results!"

"We have gone several years without a working bathtub, The shower worked fine, but we wanted the bathtub experience on occasion. Mark and company were able to do that. We are so appreciative. They were great, excellent is a better word to describe the work, the professionalism. I would definitely recommend!!!"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

While technically possible, it is unlikely that a clogged toilet will fix itself. Clogs caused by water-soluble materials like toilet paper or human waste may eventually break down in the water, allowing flow to resume. However, this can take time, and any clogs from solid objects require manual removal. In most scenarios, especially if you don't have another bathroom, it is best to fix the clog yourself or call a plumber.

Most toilets weigh between 50 and 100 pounds, depending on the material, size, and style. Some toilets can be disassembled into multiple pieces, which can make them easier to carry and dispose of. If you’re concerned that a toilet is too heavy to remove and lift on your own, enlist help or use a dolly to support the weight rather than carrying it yourself.

The order of your bathroom renovation should prevent damage to the completed work. Start with demolition and removing the old fixtures. Then, address structural repairs or water damage, if needed. Next, tackle the rough-in phase for plumbing and electrical work, install waterproofing, and work on wall treatments like tile or paint. Install your shower or bathtub, toilet, vanity, and sink. Flooring goes in after major fixtures but before the toilet. Lastly, install new lighting fixtures, mirrors, and other finishing touches as desired.

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.

The cost to install a new toilet typically runs from $225 to $530. This doesn’t include the price of the toilet itself, which can cost $90 to $1,500 depending on the model and features you choose. You can save money if you choose to install a toilet yourself. However, you might want to hire a pro for this project.

"Due to the many complexities of replacing a toilet flange, it is typically a job best left to the pros," says Jeff Botelho, Angi Expert Review Board member and plumber. "Many times it isn't as simple and straightforward as 'pop off the old one and pop on a new one' because the flange is either glued on (PVC/ABS), soldered on (brass/copper), or caulked in place with a lead & oakum joint (cast iron) and none of these things can be easily reversed without years of training and repetitive practice."
