I interviewed another contractor and decided that I wanted to hire Sam. However, my husband hadn't met him yet, so Sam made the trip back to our house to go over the job with my husband. Sam and his team did quality work and Sam communicated with me throughout the process. He was at our house, when he said he would be and kept his word from the beginning of this process. If I ever need another patio, or retaining wall, I will call Sam again. In this day and age, it is so difficult to know who to trust. I'm grateful we found Sam for this job!"

"If I could give 0 stars, I would. I hope this is a warning for anyone considering using Allen, they are absolutely HORRENDOUS to work with. Never in my life have I spoken with such a disgusting manager. To give back story, we hired Allen to inspect our backflow last July. A member of the team came out, inspected, and gave us a green/blue tag saying we were “all good to go”. He mentioned that we didn’t need any paperwork, and that they would submit it directly to the water district. A year later, our water district called letting us know they were shutting off our water because they never got a passing test from Allen. The manager and receptionist BOTH said it was mine and my husband’s fault because we mentioned in passing that we would eventually take out our sprinkler, so the information never got sent to the water district. DISGUSTING! This was also after admitting that the inspector didn’t work there anymore “for good reason”. After arguing with the Manager who still insisted it was mine and my husband’s fault, they sent out a new tech who straight up told the manager while I was standing there “the inspector did pass them in their inspection and gave them a tag. The information is all here. The office must not have filed the paperwork correctly”. They still continued to send us a bill for the re-inspection. Save yourself the hassle and hire someone that actually cares."

"Finding someone trustworthy that does a great job with great customer service is hard to do. When the project is expensive it makes it more nerve wracking to decide who to go with. If you are lucky enough to find someone that checks those boxes, they become your go to people for your projects and as well as who you recommend. A few years ago I had Hoffman replace my driveway and was completely happy with their service from initial contact to completion. Years later I’m still completely satisfied with my decision to use them. Recently I decided to pour a shed pad and replace an old back patio. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind on who I should call. Like last time the entire experience was top notch. Jessica is amazing to work with from the start and is very friendly and communicative. The owner Mark really cares about the quality of work and clearly appreciates your business. His son, who runs the concrete crew, is also awesome to work with and really cares about a customer-first approach and performing quality jobs. The rest of the crew is also very engaging and respectful and performs high quality work. If you or someone you know is looking for concrete work I cannot recommend them enough. I have a high expectation for work done at my house and they exceed those expectations. You cannot go wrong giving them a call and having them perform the work. They will continue to be my go-to company for all things related to concrete."

"It didn't go well. The company did not complete the job, they left unfinished work. I contacted the owner several times, he would give me dates and she never followed up. He became very hostile when I addressed my concerns to him. At that point, I decided that I did not want him to continue to work."

"Very well. Lead technician Justin, who specializes in finding broken wires/diagnosing electrical issues, arrived at his scheduled time. I had flagged all of the sprinkler heads and valve boxes, which Justin said he appreciated; he said most of the cost of these types of repairs is for time spent trying to find all of the valve boxes and sprinkler heads, which can become hidden under thatch and clippings. After explaining to Justin what the earlier technician had inspected and tested, he began to systematically step through the sequential zones as I shadowed him. As we traced the various waters lines and valve boxes through the yard, he explained what he was doing and why, which I found very informative. We found the broken wires at the third valve box, which Justin repaired, and then he stepped through and tested the remaining six valve boxes to ensure there were no other broken electrical wires in the system. At some of the valve boxes, Justin found some suspect wire connectors, which he said were typically used in older systems like mine but were not used anymore because they tend to fail (he was surprised that I hadn't had issues with them in my system due to its age). Where Justin found a suspect wire connector, he replaced it with a new, more dependable one to ensure it would not be a problem in the near-future. When he had finished his repairs and reviewing all of the valve boxes, we ran the system to ensure all zones were working properly. I was very satisfied with the thoroughness of Justin's work and his expertise, and I really appreciated his allowing me to shadow him during his work and his explanation of his work. Also, I am very happy with him identifying the suspect wire connectors and replacing them, which undoubtedly saved me future problems and repair service calls. Not only do I recommend Metro Sprinklers for such lawn irrigation issues, but I would also personally recommend requesting Justin to perform them."
