I was 1000 miles geographically removed from Jeff and LocoElectro. I found him via Angie's list and was never once disappointed in the entire process. This was a time critical process due to an upcoming sale of the property. I called him shortly after 7:00 a.m. on a Friday morning. He answered personally and agreed to visit the property that afternoon to assess the work and committed to supplying me an estimate by early the next week. The estimate for the work required was supplied on SUNDAY(!), with a commitment to execute the work that following Saturday! The estimate seemed reasonable to us and I asked him to proceed. I was able to pay the down payment for the work (~20%) at the time of authorization electronically. Jeff called me on Saturday and informed me the work was completed and the City would inspect on Tuesday. On Tuesday Jeff called to inform me that the City had passed the work and even offered to not collect payment until I had independently verified with the City that the work had passed. I felt no need to do so, made the final payment and subsequently learned that Jeff was nothing but truthful all the way. I was absolutely pleased with Jeff's responsiveness, attentiveness, and business approach to our rather tenuous issue. I would not hesitate one moment to hire Jeff/Loco Electro if I were to have any future needs for an electrical contractor!

I really appreciated the fact that he responded to my call in a timely manner, especially after I had previously called other companies and they couldn't even be bothered to return my call. And the only other one who did, quoted an outrageously high price, about 4 times as much as I was charged by this company. His charges were very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted Jeff from Locoelectro Inc after reading reviews on Angie's list. I needed a wiring repair done to my vaulted ceiling after discovering DIY issues likely completed by the previous homeowner. Jeff was able to identify the issue in the attic and complete the repair in roughly an hour. I was very happy with the service and professionalism provided by Jeff. With Jeff's help in repairing attic/ceiling wiring, I was able to complete my light fixture replacement. Thanks a bunch!

Jeff called to let me know he may be a few minutes late but he arrived shortly after our appointed time; he was professional and courteous. The fan removal and light replacement took 15 minutes. I plan to use his services again and recommend him as a trusted electrician.

It was a long distance transaction, I am vacationing in one state and the work was needed/completed in another state.. His quote was significantly better than one obtained by my realtor, so I would recommend giving him a chance to bid on any electrical work. He was quick with an itemized quote and completed the work in the timeline he promised.

An urgent repair was needed due to an undetermined incident in the alley behind my house. The power line to my house was yanked from its anchor on the side of the house, causing the line to hang low across my yard and the alley. I texted Mr. Foust on Friday afternoon, and he responded immediately. He was able to schedule the repair for the next morning (a Saturday morning). Just as with the work he has done for me in the past, he knew exactly what to do. He even made arrangements with Ameren Illinois after he completed his work. Even though it was a last minute repair on a Saturday morning, he charged a rate much less than expected. Loco Electro and Mr. Foutch are a model of professionalism, competence, and excellence.

Both times he came out he was about 15 minutes early which was great since another electrician had failed to even show up. He finished the job of installing the four outlets and the dehumidifier outlet in less time than he thought it would take. Everything was installed perfectly and he took the time to explain what he had done and why. I highly recommend him.

He completed the work on time and within budget

Jeff was wonderful. He arrived and was very professional. He finished the outlet install earlier than estimated, clearly labeled our breaker box for the new outlet and left his contact information on a magnet attached to the box. I was impressed with his honesty and integrity because he informed that our 'non-working' outlet just needed the GFI to be reset and showed us that all of our bathrooms were connected to one GFI. We are new the area and I'm glad I chose to hire a local small business to do the work we needed.

My overall experience was excellent. I would recommend this contractor without reservations for any and all electrical related services.

Jeff, the owner, arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment.  He had all the necessary parts and tools to accomplish the work.  I was very happy with the results and felt the charge was quite reasonable.  Jeff also provided some useful advice on other electrical matters in my house.  I would highly recommend this company.
