After a life-long love of animals and more than 15 years experience in the pet and veterinary industries , I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer from the Arizona Canine Academy. Shortly after I began training dogs professionally, it became clear that my client base was comprised of people from every walk of life with dogs as diverse as the owners. Each had their own goals, ideal or issues to work though with their pet. It seemed that no two appointments were the same. It was then I realized a different type of training was needed. A type of training for real life scenarios, delivered in everyday terms that anyone could use. A type of training that people could relate to and remember how to use. The first challenge was to acknowledge that the training was as much, if not more for the human part of the equation than the canine. It became apparent that most people didn’t know the rules of being a dog. That’s right. Dogs have rules too. Just like when people communicate with people, there are certain rules to communicating effectively with dogs. Owner-operated. No subs. Cost determined by the job. Travel charges may apply. No service fees.

"I received four bids for the fence we wanted installed. I picked wood link because of their responsiveness in the bidding process and that they could build the fence quickly. They gave us a bid a day or two after we contacted them and the fence was installed within 10 days. The whole process went very well. Wood link let us know via text when they were coming and kept us updated on the process. The quality of their work was excellent. The posts, stringers and fence boards were good quality. They built a gate for us and it looks good and works very well. I highly recommend them."

We have a country setting where we are away from the hussel of the city. We take pride in pampering the pets for they are special to us. We have 16 climate controlled kennels with each one having there own dog door for each one to go to there own covered run. We also trun each dog out to a court yard for them to excerise and play. The dogs are never mixed with other dogs. We also walk dogs if needed, we try to do what ever the pet is use to in the home. We also have a cat condo for the cat, with some perches for them to play on. We also do perfessional grooming for the pets.

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Vinyl fencing stays popular with homeowners because it’s durable and aesthetically pleasing. In addition to offering plenty of privacy, vinyl fences have a life span of 20 to 30 years with minimal maintenance. You don’t have to worry about these fences warping or rotting due to moisture, and this material doesn’t contain toxic chemicals.

Yes, installing a picket fence is a manageable DIY project for homeowners with basic tools and some patience. The process involves marking the fence line, digging post holes, setting the posts, and attaching horizontal rails and pickets. However, precision is key to ensure the fence is straight and sturdy, which can be challenging for beginners. If the fence line is long, the ground is uneven, or you’re working with more complex materials like metal or composite, hiring a pro may be a better option.

The best wood for fence posts are redwood, cedar, and pressure-treated pine. Wood posts made from these materials will typically lasts between 15 and 30 years, depending on the specific type you choose and your local climate. With proper care and maintenance, a fence post made of these materials can withstand most weather conditions.

It’s usually cheaper to buy pre-made fence panels than to build your own. This surprises many people since DIY tasks so often save money. However, large stores don’t have to pay the same amount per board of wood that homeowners do, allowing them to sell pre-made panels at a more cost-effective rate. Pre-made panels also save a great deal of time, energy, and guesswork. The drawback is that they are harder to customize to the shape and slope of your yard.

The lifespan of wire fencing heavily depends on factors like gauge, material, coating type, and environmental conditions. However, with proper maintenance, many wire fences last for 20 to 30 years. Coastal areas or regions with high rainfall may see reduced lifespans of 10 to 15 years due to increased corrosion risk.
