T & S went above and beyond. They looked for vintage flooring to match and customized the old-fashioned trim to match perfectly - no easy task b/c this trim and flooring type is no longer made. They smoothed and prepped the wall (plaster/lathe/wallpaper - difficult to work with) for me in areas not related to the lighting installation, knowing I’d be painting soon. Fast, friendly, and professional service. They were prepared with all supplies. They cleaned and organized the work space thoroughly before leaving every day they were there (2-3 days). They were responsive and straightforward throughout the project, gave helpful advice when I asked, and sought out ways to save me money. "So bad I cant describe. The painters simply power washed the house. Then they may have put epoxy/paint on. No paint scraping was done. The painters painted unevenly, missed places and painted areas they should not have. My stained deck was painted. My yard and bushes were painted. My driveway had paint on it. Areas that should have been taped on the house were not. My foundation of my house was painted. The painters left their trash in my yard. Now I have them coming back for the 3rd time to see if they can undo the damage they did. This is so bad I think it may not be fixable..."

Priming stucco before painting is not an absolute requirement, but applying a primer coat is recommended. Primer is designed to serve as a strong bonding agent between the stucco surface and the outer paint layers. Using a primer can also help produce even coverage and color for a better-looking final product.

Yes. A gallon of paint covers around 400 square feet, so two gallons will be enough for one coat in a 400-square-foot room or two coats in an 800-square-foot room. However, if you have a very large room or you’re painting an open space or an entire floor of your home, you may need more than two gallons.

It may be possible to touch up with leftover paint, but don’t consider it Plan A. Even if the can is sealed, older paint may change color or consistency over time, especially if stored in fluctuating temperatures. Stir thoroughly and test in a discrete area first. If the paint looks noticeably different when dry, it’s better to get a fresh match using the code or color name on the can.

In most cases, humidity above 70% is considered too high to paint in. Humid conditions will slow the paint’s drying process, which increases the risk of drips and other imperfections. Moisture on the walls is also one of the biggest reasons for bubbles in your paint and poor adhesion, so you’ll get an overall better finish if you maintain humidity under 70%.
